So for all us Canadians, I found some interesting information. The Canada shipment did not meet our Bilingual standards and was refused. ARGH! Stupid SE. Now I am being told by my EB Games to check on Monday but the guy said even that might be doubtful.....

Off to find a PS2 version and PS2 to play it on.

i registered no problem.. this 20k file update is killing me tho! my internet doesn't stay on for more then like 4 hours (it cuts out ever so slightly, enough to kill a d/l but not enough to stop my game) so yea.. i'll see you all in 2 days ><
wait... it went to downloading files and there are only 69 files o.o i prepares 20k but only nee dto d/l 69.. nice i may be able to get dancer today after all!

Guy @ Gamestop just called me to tell me the copy I reserved arrived, I told him to sell it to someone else if they want it because i already downloaded the Disc and bought the PS2 version for the reg. code on Wednesday. He said they have to hold it till Monday anyways, sucks that I screwed someone out of getting the game today possibly. Pfft whatever it's mine I already paid for it.

The only foul up on SE part is releasing the game on the most busy shopping day/week of the year. They should have released the game for purchase last week and alowed us to register it during the whole week and then activated the new content on Wednesday night.

I think it is very insulting for them to treat us this way. The Japanese must think that this is a day we LIKE to shop on since we all act like idiots lining up outside of stores at 3am in the cold. Maybe SE was thinking we would like it like that. To put up with so much stress just getting to the store and then have to deal with the stress of getting some poor over worked store employee to "check the computer" to see if WoTG is in yet while some soccer mom is screaming at him with a 3 page list of games in her hand and everyones just being a total asswipe all around you.

So has anyone died yet today on this wonderful Black Friday? 100k says a few ppl did.

so, im playin today, and suddenly i get a /tell from one of my buddies...apparently he went into a store, and they sold out basicaly infront of him, the last two copies were bought by a couple, and he was bein all pissed, it was kinda funny...

then my brother called me shortly afterwards, ALSO bitching, apparently he was at walmart, and he almost bought it, but the people in the electronic's department were being extremely unhelpful >.>

I live in California near LA and I've been calling every store possible that might have a chance at carrying WotG, and so far no luck. Has anyone in the LA area had any luck grabbing the PC version? I'll likely have to wait until the weekend to get it, thanks to Turkey Day and Black Friday, but oh well, at least I'll know exactly how to unlock Dancer and Scholar .

Nonetheless, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Registration Server Congestion (Nov. 21): Follow-up 5

We would like to take this opportunity to update everyone on the status of the registration server congestion that began with the opening of service for "Wings of the Goddess."

As of Nov. 22, a counter plan was enacted to cease certain registration server functions in order to divert more resources to the registering of the new expansion, but we still have yet to see a significant improvement. Even now, we are still experiencing a congestion due to heavy traffic.

Our staff continues to keep an eye on the situation and is working to resolve this issue.

New updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we thank you for your continuing support.
