Was just curious if anyone could tell me the specifics about this nm, Wiki says about 6 75s can take down but with what type of set up and with what difficulty?

I know he is a SMN mob, but does he cast avatars or just eles (i.e. carby mitts guy)

any details would be great

Has an ele and an insta summon avatar for 2hr.
6 75s can kill it. I suggest a ninja tank.

NIN WHM BLM DD DD RDM or BRD, easy win.

Ive killed this with NIN THF BLM SMN and RDM, easy but long fight. Only hard thing is pulling ot down safely. You may have to kill the mini NM's or the avatar first before pulling. Droprate on staff sucks ass but word has it has a greater chance of dropping at night, at least all drops ive seen were at night...

2 Thieves can bounce hate back and forth if they have a bard, but a NIN tank with a THF back up is very helpful. I have had a PLD/NIN tank her (Vana'diel Tribune featured Tzee Xicu and it's a female) but you have to have a WHM and a BRD that are on the ball with Paralyna as her melee hits do cause paralyze. THF was needed (my main and only 75 job still - I"m lazy and do love THF) to maintain hate.

2 main things about pulling her: 1) Don't bother trying to clear the area by pulling the High Priest or Templar as she has absolute sight (what I call it). If you touch anything within a certain radius of her, even if she's on her way back to her spawn, she links with it and comes for you. 2) If you have a very good and brave Thief, have them clear out a path for you to take her to that tunnel so you don't have to even deal with respawns. Be sure you can pull her without getting links and then have the Thief aggro everything down the path and once you get her down there (the thief should be running with flee and can do circles until you pass) and then Hide to drop it all. I even recommend clearing that 1 High Priest by the ??? before you do this so the Thief has a ton of room to do this.


These are just my experiences with Tzee Xicu. She's definitely fun to fight.
