First off, no I do not have dancer leveled that high, but the enemy team had a dancer, Lv60Cap Ballista

In the match, the "grav down" the "provoke" the "stun" dances, were always 100% on me, I was pld

she never once got resisted against me

Yep, the additional effects are always proc'ing on me lol

1vs1, the Dancer is pretty weak cause I guess of light armor, but in the team vs team situation, it got really annoying, and they can spam it real hard

Yea, it's simply support in ballista, cannot hold its own(maybe, who knows, probably still too early to judge), but I will say that it can use its abilities to benefit their team in many ways, gate breach, surviving etc

As many ppl predicted, you "have" to hit and run to pull this job off, stay in someone's range for more than 15 seconds, and you're dead

Edit: I think the main thing I found annoying, is that you receive the status effects on the starting frame of their dance animation, so it's pretty much instant...was ticking me off a bit with the instant grav

I havnt seen DNC be too much of a threat yet, however I did get to experience a 1v1 with a SAM/DNC using full store TP gear and Myochin Domaru+1, it took a while to get me down but I could not kill him, every swing was a cure II or two for him. :x

What i experienced with /DNC so far is that as a sub, you can only drain 3-5 a hit even though you hit for 60-80. But i don't know, my dnc is only lvl 10 and i was 69/10 MNK/DNC

At Lv 35 you get Drain Samba II so get your dancer to 35 first;p

not for nuthin, but 1 vs 1 DNC is great. Unless you fighting a SAM =/

its easy, with 30 TP, Dancer can inflict 3 negative stats on enemy and convert that 30TP to 60TP..which can be done every 30 sec!

As long as Dancer doesnt die withing first 30 sec, chances are it will win. But SAM with Meditat can really put a hurt on DNC ; ;

DNC up til 60 cap can rival the eva of THF and PUP with the right gear, so not bad at all. Eat some tav tacos and keep insane eva gear on, and u will be fine Even in uncap, with the gear i have for my THF, i can get my DNCs eva to 294 the skill, plus the eva bonus trait.

My DNC is only 53 atm so idk too much about it in 60+ caps. But its great for 50. And seeing as how we get Cure V lol, which is instant cast, we will be more than fine.

The Sambas are not at all what we you guys expected, i remember tellin u it would be based on the whole "daze" thing.. either way, only good for the dancer unless it lands on some1 being jumped by more than just the dnc.

All in all (oh god, like its an essay) DNC is another fun/nice job to have on ur team, and a formidable opponent!

Thank god its not another rdm/mnk/blu/sam thats gonna ruin ballista.

Well, when I made the post

the Dancer lost 1v1 to me atleast 4x in a row, my PLD just outlast anything he did to me, but in the team vs team, thats when it actualyl got annoying for me

SAM/DNC with Soboro is really broken in 50 cap.. (I know obvious >.>) But SE needs to nerf drainsamba at that level, at least for Soboro. I've yet to see DNC main though. =(

Lol I need to try SAM/DNC in 50cap. I've been too stuck on SAM/BLU with Polearm (+merits for Penta) as well as DRK/RDM.

Depends on target; If he nails another high def/eva job (Like a mnk/blu?) it can do 100-250 maybe. Weaker jobs it can do 300-500. Its nasty too because dele's setup makes his defense rival a pld and he has seigan. Sam/blu has more to offer than just the extra def too, slow and VIT down can be kinda nasty. Since most lower matches are small I gotta say sam/blu is a nasty little combo.
