But I have always been curious. Is there a certain process that I am missing to get a static pt going? I have a 52 smn and a 57 whm, that I lvled exclusively with pick-up pts, but have always wanted a static. I feel that not having a static is one of the reasons I haven't gotten a job to 75, saying to myself that I don't have time to find a pt and get anything done. If any vets have some advice on forming a static lemme know! Thanks!

There is no "official" way of forming a static, like signing up with a moogle or anything.
What you do is you find a couple people and you say "hey, we rock together, let's stick together"
That means, it's easier to grab people from your linkshell that you already know, like
/ls "hey, i have a 15 war, anyone want to level?" find 5 more people who want to get their 15 level job up and stick with it.
Can also go with people you did not know before of course.
Works basically like making friends smile.gif

What also works is if you get a pickup party and you do great, ask them whether to get together again tomorrow same time and take it from there.
