Hi Guys
The maint. just started and since I have off today I figured I log my character in the maze to see if I get lucky on peacock amulet but when I went there was obiously other people who also wanted to try thier luck. So I just wanted to ask any advice tips or anything that can help me log in before the next guy if it pops and not LK.


I never camped a NM before maintance so I dont know how to minimize downloading time and be able to log in asap. Im currently at the main menu screen with the horizontal diamond with the word "Play" shadowed and the above text scrolling that you cannot play during maint. I was planning to stay on this screen until the word "Play" becomes available to click again but I remember a lot of times you have to be on PoL to start the update so Im confused as to where to start to agian minimize the time spent downloading and getting back in before the others.

Well, there's nothing that really gives an advantage aside from getting some friends to help you and hope that if you don't get on for the NM that your friend gets on before you to hold it.

The thing about maintenance and NMs is everyone knows that maint resets NMs now. The advantage of camping after a maintenance is effectively shot and only benefits those who don't know the time of death. In my opinion you have better chances of getting it if you camp consecutively as there will be many who lose track of time of death and give you more of a chance at it. (Not a great chance, but everything helps)

its a 12 hour window. The chance Argus actually pops before u the majority of the people can get logged in is very small.
