Hirushi : Similar to Ix'DRG, if anyone in your party touches either the Ix'aern or one of the Qn'aerns, everyone in your party will have hate on all three NMs. To avoid this, break your party so individuals aren't drawing hate.
I see - I wasn't aware of that aspect for this mob OR Ix'DRG. It makes more sense, now, why you disband before popping. I don't think the other members of my Sea Gods LS are aware of this either; I should mention it to them the next time we attempt to split up mobs.
As explained earlier, the non-popper will not have hate as long as the party has been disbanded before the NMs are popped. Also, with Player A and Player B running in opposite directions (one towards zone, other towards Fortitude room) there's no chance that the Aerns can link back up with each other.
I guess I should also note that normal Aerns in the area should be grabbed by Player A either before or after the pop to avoid unnecessary aggro on Player B who is pulling Ix'DRK.
It's a very easy pull and a very easy fight, you just need to understand the hate mechanics and be aware of the other enemies around you in order to make a clean pull.

Ah, so I WAS right. The impression I was getting from the posts above were that after the initial pull, ALL THREE Aern were being pulled to the zone when actually only the RNGs (and random adds) were, while the DRK is being pulled to the kiting area. This makes much more sense, now; the popper does something to change his claim target off of the Ix'Aern, and the other player grabs it as soon as it turns white.
