Did not see anyone mention this any where else so here goes: Sauromugue Champaign [s] H-8 @75 these guys are even match to tough. I grabbed a brd friend and loaded up on shield skill gear,
I was getting 5 skills an hour until i hit about 272 shield and it slowed down to about 4. But that is alot more then i was getting skilling on puks. with food, defence build and phalanx these guys hit weak, with shield blocks they were hitting me for 0-10 dmg.

They have a move where they do an AoE slow, then non stop hit for quiet awhile which is great, without that move they still hit pretty fast. Would probably be great for parry skill up on ninja also.

Yes i did.

I got pld to 75 and quit using it before all the pld updates. Waiting for it to cap by its self takes to long when you are 100 skills behind. Besides waiting to cap a useful
skill when you could gain exp and get it into a useful state is a pretty bright idea eh.

Wouldn't Gnoles (Jugner Forest [S]) be good to cap against? I am going to be fully honest, I only ever fought a Gnole through Campaign, sad enough heh, but I noticed how often those bastards attack lol. I tend to get alot of shield blocks off them continuously lol.

So ya anyways, would Gnoles be a good choice? They seem to attack pretty fast and hit for craptacular damage on my PLD with some defense gears on when solo.

You mean to tell me that Even Match targets that attack very quickly are advantageous for the skill-up of a defensive skill?

The media, I have alerted it.

Go old school. Go level/merit on those crazy turkey birds in Lufaise meadows. Those bitches capped my shield way back when.
