read somewhere you can get more than one of the new year gifts, just they would be in different languages. i really want the german one and already have the american one. so i go trading and it tells me 'you cannot obtain new years gift'....ok, am i doing something wrong? do i have to send it? or is it just trying to give me the american one again and i have to keep trying?

You just keep on trading til you get them I went threw almost 100 items maybe more and I I got were two different New Years cards. Think the second one was Japanese and the first was English. Anyways yeah you just keep trading til you get it but it could take a very long time to get it, good luck.
