Lol i can see flames or shit talking coming from this topic but need to see something other than
tainted, DH and zealot go at each other. But anyways my reason for posting this is to get some
answers on the reason why i lost 2-1. My gear is damn near perfect only thing i am missing
is speed belt, Dusk gloves+1 and Ninja chainmail+1, anyways when i faced this 3rd rate Dark knight
im diorama abdhaljs-ghelsba Nin/War vs Drk/Rdm came down to a point between Drain Drain II and Diaga
dread spikes. TP drain was nothing he didnt get the chance drain my TP so thats w/e.
It seems i lost because of fast cast drains, diagas getting hit was not a problem to me really
i slowed paraed blind but still timed a few utsu's to counter his drain but diaga and drain II seems to be
a real bitch =P, but in the end i lost. Now i wasnt pissed that i lost i was a bit disapointed, and a bit confused as of how i could have lost to a 3rd rate drk lol.

I've learned sometimes a true warrior must learn how to accpet defeat, stay in complete
convalescence and grows stonger after each battle. im here seeking advice and/or answers
And yes Ryolen i know hes your cousin and im waiting for you to come defend him =P.
I dont have snapy come backs like zealot or tainted i do all my talk in the way i ballista =x

Try /DNC. But again... that requires TP. Which he can sap (if he aims for it).

Other alternative:
There's an enSilence katana you can offhand. But if you outlaw enchantments in your fights... Garuda's Dagger?

you planned on using /RDM yourself yes?
Well... Use the Ni Nuke that lowers Wind resistance, and your /RDM enfeebles will actually stick. Silenced DRK and you've got a good chance.

Rayfu? Wouldn't surpise me one bit, I never once crossed him in ballista and he claims hes defeated me. I hear so many bad things about him in ballista, he comes to fights with tp, food, jumps the gun, runs in circles, completly runs away.

Burning, drk/rdm is hard for anyjob to tango with (before dnc) being able to eliminate all weakness. Beating someone as drk/rdm is by far the easiest way to go, its no surpise that any drk with a half a brain could rival the best of some classes.

Nin/dnc with your haste setup and kclub should put just about any job down np your ability to undebuff and cure your self with ease will leave the drk drained by the end of the fight.

The only times a nin/war has given me hell was when i was /war, the paralize and shadows blows.

but as drk/rdm i find any job that is main or sub ninja really easy to hit so those are my main target when i'm /rdm.

Silence is the only thing that will fuck you up as drk/rdm. Those ensilence daggers suck btw i have trained alot using all sorts of en-type weapons against a rdm friend and they just dont work(5 sec use delay 10 min. recast = no thanks). Garudas on the other hand worked fine but only in windsday and its dmg was left wanting.

Your best bet is a Stun/silence katana setup, Garuda's being the silence weapon.

and using a haste setup is always win if ur a double attacker like mnk and war/nin. Interupts really grinds my Dark Knight's balls.

PS: I fought a nin/dnc yesterday in diorama his name is Lyth in Phoenix server, hes pretty good but that combo didnt leave a big impresion on me. Absorb-TP and Diaga was all i used really all because he would spent alot of times casting shadows and dancing but lil time hitting me all it really took was two guillotines and alot of diaga one to get him low the second to finish him off he did kill me once though and i think the slow effect and paralize had a big impact on it because the "Weigh" i think it was didnt really hinder me at all. I'm not here to "defend" Rayfu, who by the way is my brother, Nightwing is our cousin.

Just gonna inform ya'll a lil bit about my brother to see if mabe u can comprehend him better.

First off, contrary to what some may think cuz of his lolgear, he's not a noob. His real character Ravan was hacked on Alexander, pimped out motherfukin MNK, DRK, and RNG. We we're in JP HNMls so we did good in the gear department.

This actual character Rayfu, is a friend of ours that quit, and gave it to him due to the hacking. Yes, it's gimp, but we're workin on it lol. We're in a great shell that we love rigth now so hopefully things will work out fine.

Yes, he talks ALOT of shit lol, I know, I live with him. But to be fair, everyone fucking shittalks.

I know I do, I cant stand MNKs SAMs BLUs and RDMs that /emote you when ur killed.. that is the #1 pisser offer in my book lol. I could care less if an lolWAR or lolNIN kills me and laughs, cuz they're lol.

In my honest opinion, there are few people that excel in some of these loljobs.
BB on NIN is awsome, mainly cuz he has KC, but w/e, stills kicks ass.
I know I got THF slot hands down. (Not arrogance, just scientific fact) w
I think Unclegreen's NIN/BLM is working really well for him as well.
Killcrow is a fantastic RNG
Stolin's DRG which we don't see much of anymore was awsome as well.
My brother is a great DRK, regardless of how much he gets jumped due to his big mouth
I think Stonedwarrior takes the cake for now cuz his gear is significantly better.
BLM.. I like Rachell lol, Darron is also very good at blm.

Do you have EVA merits? if so have you try'd nin/thf or nin with Full eva skil gear and eva/agl gear?
Might be another way to try. Cant keep Blink up is ok, sometimes, when/if you can see him about to do WS, u can get NI up right before.

Another question with your gear and attcks as is, vs the drk/rdm did you get many if at all spell interups on him?

1 problem i find with jobs like drks as nin is that you cant out DD them, just by wacking away.
atm i been useing /thf in uncapped and it working well for me, but if i knew i was gonna fight some one 1 on 1 as a nin, i might /rng or /sam to make the fight faster.

From your post its seem like that fight went for a good bit, he got off to many spells than i would like. So instead off draging the fight out try to out DD him asap, /war not gonna do it. and /sam would have been good but drks messed that up. so i would use /rng.

For me as nin/rng vs drk/rdm , i would just get para and slow on him, then do my best to get 100% tp, When you get or close to getting 100% tp, 90%-100% area, make sure u have NI able to be recasted. mainly for TP stealing spell.

After 100 tp let WS barrage, and u should have 100% tp or 70% tp, he should have 20-30% life, From there, use just need to finish him of, but watch out for D1/D2, him stealing ur tp isnt that big off as deal atm, u can use spells or DoT him to death. Drk/rdm isnt built to fight fast, it will "outlast" many jobs but it can be PUT Down fast, shorter fight maybe the way to go for you.

Nin/rng does take certain gear and skill to pull off good but its not hard, i have rng 75 so it just shareing gear for me.

oh wait i didnt see that you from the same sever as those other lol's, if your fighting with that no prebuff rule, barrage @ start and WS soon afther, he'll be at AT least 50% life from the start if not less. GL
