Why Is Chocobo Digging So Screwed Up?

Ive been digging since about 2 years ago because i found it fun, i didnt really think i would start to profit from it. Once in a while i'll go out and work for a while at digging and make a decent profit because i'm almost convinced i'm the only NA on my server who digs lol.

Well in the first place i didnt dig much but for the past year whenever i go to any of the profitable digging spots theres some JP players there digging up every !@$!@# item before it even spawns (I imagine they can seeing as how they're closer to the main servers in Japan.) well it pisses me off because i can no longer dig for anything because all it takes is someone level 6 or higher in digging to ruin a zone for any other player for hours and hours, and we all know japanese don't sleep. My question is: If fishing never runs out of fish, harvesting never runs out of things to harvest, logging points always respawn and ore is always there to be mined then why must we run out of items like this? it just does not seem logical to me. I mean, ok sure if it was personal (As in theres a set of items for each player digging in the zone) and we can run out of items without ruining it for other diggers then that would make sense, but please someone explain the logic behind limited digging items for every player in a zone?

Am i wrong in the assumption that SE over estimates everything besides Besieged? so why only 15 items spawning every half an hour.

In the past, the chocobo digging system was a lot worse. It was not the JP diggers ruining it, it was the predictable RMT digbots. This was at the peak of inflation when I was making over 500k a day if stuff would sell on the AH quickly and if I had no competition - and that was rare.

The digging fatigue has leveled out the playing field. It only takes me 15-17 stacks of greens to hit fatigue, and that takes less than 30 minutes. Sometimes you dig the zone at the wrong time.

Up to 75 to 100 items can load for digging at any given time. Every game minute, 1 to 8 items will reload. The reload rate depends on moon phase. Quarter moon has the slowest reload rates, full/new moon has the fastest reload rates. The limit of items depends on the "item pool" that is predetermined. When more people dig at the same time, this pool depletes rapidly and when it is empty the diggers won't be able to dig up items.
