Those screenshots are actually game footage for sure. So I heard many rumors about SE will release FFXIII games in 2009, but not sure if it's early 2009 or late, but they said SE won't delay it in 2010 like FF7AC...

..source? Because i'm pretty sure SE has said FF will keep going if there will be an audience for it. And I'm sure since FF13 is the most anticipated game for the last 2 years, there will be a 14...

There will always be Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy spin offs until it stops pulling in money, even if they butcher the series.

Of course im excited for the new FFs but im really most looking forward to the next gen FF MMO, hoping that it will be Final Fantasy based, I also really hope its a more futuristic setting. FF8 is my fave, but FFXI comes real close, online networking with other players gives limitless gameplay which I love.

Im looking forward to FF13 but am still patiently waiting for news on rapture.

In the most recent interview with Square (in TGS), they announced names too, such as the main character of Final Fantasy Versus XIII and the blonde women with him in the room that appears in many images and scans

Noctis as the Main Character
Stella as the woman with him

Not Oji, Nero or Storm as many sites and rumors said, this one is official.

I remember an interview where SE said that FFXIII will be the last numbered FF meaning that there won't be a FFXIV but the series will continue with unique titles... but it's been a long time and I haven't heard anything since then.

Good news is that apparently FF Agito XIII will be released worldwide in 2009 and SE said FFXIII will come out before Agito... so maybe this means that XIII will come out next year in all countries?
