I've been trying to kill this thing for about 2 weeks now and have yet to beat it. I know shouting in Aht. Urghan isn't the best thing since you don't know who's noob and not but I don't really have an HNMLS. Just want to know what is the usual setup for it and how is it done? Do we have to fight in that ditch or is there another area? Do we really need an outside BST pt?

From what I've done and it was pretty succesfull:
Tank pt
PLD/NIN
XXX/NIN (melee job, NIN or WAR is good)
WHM
BRD
RDM
(anything for 6th)
Other pt:
WHM
BLM
BLM
BLM
BLM
BRD
Other pt:
DD
DD
DD
COR
BRD
WHM
That right there would fuck it up hardcore. But you could do with 12 ppl. Just get a few DDs, a few BLMs and the tank party I showed you, it all matters with the strat.
Strat:
Basically, you have the ??? pop spot, what you do it clear the other antlions, have the PLD pop it, and solo tank the feeler by himself with no other DD in the corner there. His melee will make it WS and pop an antlion. When it pops an antlion, the XXX/NIN voke the antlion and pulls it to the rest of the people who should be standing further up some. You will only want a max of 2 antlions up at once or shit gets bad. Just wait til Alastor pops, and have everyone focus on the feeler and kill ASAP. Just kill alastor and make sure you bring more than 1 WHM for stonas.

I agree with most of what Ummhi states just a few thing my LS does differently.
We find it easier to have a Nin solo tank it and in that 6th spot he has in his tank pt I'd get another Nin just in case one of your tanks goes down always better to be prepared. As it's popping Executioners have the PLD flash them and kill them quick. When Alastor pops have your back up tank voke that and kite him around with the RDM putting Gravity on it while everyone else kills the Feeler. It's very important that Feeler gets killed as soon as Alastor pops cause if he starts spawning more Executioners that could lead to big trouble. Once Feeler is down full attack Alastor.

I've found taking a bst or /bst to tie up the other antlions areound helps too. (I went brd/bst for our last run, and I just charmed one and made it fight the other 2 far away from the pop point).
Also, if the feeler starts popping more Executioners than you can handle, get your tank to turn around and stop feeding it tp.

If the Feeler is still at a pretty high amount of HP when Alastor comes, it helps to have your BLMs direct their fire onto it to avoid giving it excessive tp, because if you melee it the links can get out of control.

With my ls we clear the antlions between tunnel exit and ??? spawn location. Have a THF pop the Feeder and flee to the camp (tunnel exit). This way you can kill Executionners without any link from antlions repop.
The THF tank ther Feeder and give him tp while the rest of the alliance kill executionners. A NIN kites the Alastor when he pops in order to let time to the alliance to kill any executionner still alive then we kill Alastor.
We went 7/7 last time without any particular setup. Just make sure you have 1 WHM in each pt for stona.

Well.... Problem with a melee like NIN or THF holfing feeler is too much tp gain, too many antlions = bad. Unless you can waste the pops fast, I'd have the meleeing tank turn away when it pops an antlion.
