Ok, I just hit 61 with my main and I've been checking out the order of the blue gartr website and I'm starting to get pumped about Gods and HNMs etc. I'm trying to find informtion about some of the 70+ attractions in the game. I was wondering if anyone knew any sites or threads devoted to such things. Here's a few questions I have off the top of my head.
1. I see many high level's put in the comments: Moon O Sky O , or the such; what does this mean? I just read something about the Moongate in Ro' Maeve. So i'm guessing that's one of them. What does this allow you to do?
2. With the Gods, what do you have to do to be able to fight them? Any sites with suggestions on fighting them, minimum player levels etc.
3. Any other info that would be good to know as I go towards 70.
Thanks for your time in help this noob. ^^;;

1- Moongate (Ro'Maeve) and Sky (Tu'Lia) access is granted via accomplishment of Zilart Missions.
Considering God HNMs are located in Sky, having access to them is mandatory for God hunt.
2- and 3-
Basically the best you can do is join a HNM LS and learn from its members. No website can explain how it really works, battlefield experience is your best bet.
Anyway, it's the point of view of a newbie warrior, who won't be fighting HNMs for a looooong time, if ever.

moon = moongate pass key item, obtained in ro'maeve. moon is not a new zone. it is part of ro'meave. it allows you and your party to pass an otherwise locked door to reach the xp camp area.
sky on the other hand, refers to the floating island of Tu'Lia that you gain access to after completing Zilart Mission 13. sky is where the God NMs are.
in order to fight them, you must obviously have sky. 2ndly, you have to camp and kill NMs in sky that drop stones such as winterstone, autumnstone, etc. also, you need the gem of the west, gem of the east, etc.
you take the corresponding gem & stone to a ??? that matches and trade them to pop a god NM. it has a chance to drop a seal, such as seal of Genbu. once you have the seals of all the gods, you can go to RuAvitau Shrine and trade all 4 of them to another ??? to pop the ruler, Kirin.

Isn't seal a guaranteed drop? I think we've got seals every kill..

Yes, seal is a guaranteed drop. Most of the time you will be able to fight them only in a HNM linkshell....

1. The Moongate and Sky are two locations (technically one in the same since they both lead/are same area). Sky = Tu'lia, there is no Tu'lia name in the locations section so people just write sky. Letting people know this shows that you have completed up through Zilart Mission 13 and now have access to kill gods, hard nms, and various other Tu'lia fun.
2.lol well first off.. you should be at LEAST 70+ for melee and 65+ for casters..
As for "what do you need to do"..
you have to gather gems and such to spawn the gods.. gems drop from the various NMs located in Tu'lia (ie: Steam Cleaner, Faust, mother globe, etc..etc).. Once you collect items you trade to one of 4 locations (east, west, north, south) to spawn one of the 4 gods..
once you have defeated all 4 gods you trade their seals to fight Kirin...
3.65-69 is gonna be a pain in the ass unless you are a "needed" job...
but if you can be substituted for another job (ie: mnk for drk) then you're gonna be there for awhile. Don't get frustrated, it happens to nearly everyone.
Also you need to find your jobs Testiment before lvl 70..
this allows you to fight that bish Maat for lvl 71.
I think your biggest worry is finding a good Maat strat...
sometimes losing to his can cost you a bundle...

you ask about strats for the nm's/gods...well the only one i know is kirin cause my friend told me the other day while they fought him:P when you fight him he will summon all 4 of the gods (at different times) which you also have to defeat. they are, however, weaker versions than the non summoned gods (thank god). you spawn kirin using the 4 seals as stated above, and shortly after he'll summon the first god. i'm not sure if the order is set, or always random. you have a tank kite (make the mob follow them around while others cure/help out to make sure they don't die) while others fight the god. you'll usually have quite a few people there, 30+ at least as far as i know. you can call for help on the summoned gods so that the alliance attacking kirin can help out. the summoned gods do not drop any (or at least not the same items that the gods do) items of value. from what i've heard/seen you'll kill the first god, he'll summon another, you'll kill it, and he'll summon a 3rd. while you are on the 3rd one he seems to always summon the 4th and last god before the 3rd is dead. this makes it a bit tricky. you can either kite kirin and the 4th god, or if you have enough ppl just fight both gods at once. once you finally have killed all the gods, you can do 1 of 2 things. what my friend did the other day was they set to work aspiring all of his mp (he can cast high level blm spells..not fun). i'm not sure if you can sleep him or not, so you would either try to keep him slept, or just keep kiting him. stun when we casts, bind maybe if you can. takes a long time to get all of his mp because not only is he a summoner, but a level 90 monster =/ and we all know mobs have very large amounts of mp. the 2nd idea is just to start killing him from here and stun when he casts. i guess both would work fine. it would be nice to know he can't cast anything on you, but as long as you can stun it shouldn't be too big of a deal unless he resists a lot. a video i watched he was spamming quake and rasp and such on the tanks, might get annoying. after all this...you just kill him. not sure if you continue to kite him around at this point, or if you tank him like normal.
if any of my info is wrong, sorry. i have never killed kirin, but i have watched movies of it, and have had friends tell me how they have done it. just trying to give an idea to people how fun/hard some of the later fights can be ^^

There's a lot of HNM content before gods such as Serket, Simurgh, Dynamis, Bune, ect to keep you busy from 60-70.
