As the title says, I want SE to get off their ps2 limitation horse and make a decent PVP system.

Yes "one" area would be overcrowded, but how about a dedicated server for this area. Like Nyzul Isle can hold upto 7 parties. So Nyzul Isle is infact Nyzul1, Nyzul2... Nyzul7.



The Colosseum can be used. And as brenner, the pit and ballista has proved. A population of 1000-1500 is not enough to keep a pvp system alive. This is where the "cross server" comes in.

with over 50.000 players having access to the area, there will always be a battle waiting for you 24/7. Just speak with an NPC and your duel will be ready in seconds!

Names, people may have the same name cross server. So your name will have a "@server" attached at the end of it. "Player1@Ifrit" vs "Player2@Asura"

Rules:
No 2hours
No equipment change
No potions/food/items
15 min time limit
No bazaar/trade transactions can be made

Other:
HP, MP and abilities will be restored upon entry and exit. TP is cleared.
Ladder systems, Best Team, Player, Server.
Equipment obtainable with ladder rank and points.

Not a big PVP fan but honestly I'm sick of SE wasting development time on shit that no one ever uses. I know on Lakshmi the Colosseum is empty almost all day. On top of that "The Pit" was suppose to be something different from "The Colosseum", but they lumped them together. If you look on the map of white gate they have two different entrances and logos. I was hoping the colosseum would be more 1 on 1 pvp where you could place bets or something and the pit was basically pankraton (which no one ever does anymore.... 4 months later).

I think if PVP were exposed to a population of 50k instead of 2 to 3k than it would take off more than it has in the past.

if u speak with the npc he still says something like, "The coloceum is close while aht what ever's deffence is in question." so maby its SE unfinished projects... like af2 for toa jobs. idk. but still, would be cool but we would need a nice size zone for so many off us. not that single square shit at the top post lol@ SE if they made something so small and called it a pvp arena
