The way I beat her was by using everything available to DNC lol..
Best tip I can give you:
USE YOUR SELF-SC!
It's risky..but its damage is whats drops her HP the most, hell it may just be a line she says, but she's pretty much saying to WS on her lol, or else you will go in a stalemate. Her normal attacks don't really much damage (between 40-78 on my elvaan), I used a Blinkband and stoneskin torque slept to 50% TP (to have a nice base for steps), so I had a small grace period before her primary WS..
Then I just built 5 FMs and used Building Flourish > Step then get the wild flourish set up, and Dancing Edge, which did around 700 dmg total then I used all the meds I had to restore HP then popped an I wing and DE again and it was pretty much over then, time -just- ran out when I got the final hit.
I'm seeming to have bad luck with my 2nd fight (to record a strategy or two) so I guess I got lucky first time lol <_<

Omfg I can't believe I won. Now 1/6 on the fight. xD. I actually destroyed her this time around and beat my friends previous record with a time of 4 minutes and 10 seconds.
When I was fighting Young Quadavs in Grauberg I started to notice that Evisceration was a much more consistent WS than Dancing Edge, mainly because it was based on crit and not acc like Dancing Edge. I used my Hi-Potion tank 10 times for good measure, and also bought a wing. I did not sleep for TP or anything. Use the best attack food you have, I used a Sis Kebabi for it capped my attack unlike a Meat Mithkabob, it was definitely a big difference on the damage per hit I did on Lalia.
I immediately begin doing Quicksteps on her for best overall hit rate, then focused a bit on Box Step. I made sure not to waste my TP curing myself and instead using my Hi-Potions when nessicary. I used Reverse Flourish at 4 Finishing Moves instead of 5, for best time:tp ratio. After I did my first Evisceration I used a wing and then followed it with a Dancing Edge to do Distortion. This did about 1/2 of Lalia's life, and by then I was at about 200 HP after eating a Dancing Edge myself. Then I used Trance and cured myself back up to full using Curing Waltz IV, I also spammed Healing Waltz to remove the Box Steps Lalia used, which is very worth it because the box steps do up her damage quite a bit.
Finally, I used a Drain Samba III, which was also free in TP due to Trance. I do not recommend using a Samba until you use Trance, but DSIII is very worth it I may add. While you continue to build TP for more weapon skills, make good use of Trance and continue to spam your waltz limitlessly. Continue to Reverse Flourish at 4 finishing steps, you will not need Building Flourish as it can waste time waiting the 20 seconds after Reverse Flourish. I believe it was 2 Eviscerations later I brought her down. The last Evisceration did 582 without a Building Flourish and overkilled her from 31%. xD With Drain Samba III active until the end I did not even need to use any more Hi-Potions, I finished the fight at still over 1000 hp.
I made a video of it and I'm >trying< to upload it to Youtube but I think their upload system is down or has a lot of traffic atm so I will try it later. However, I got it streaming on FileFront, you can also download it there if you want a higher quality.

Enjoy~

Nice. Really looking forward to doing this fight. To me, G5 is always something I do for my jobs before I go any further than 70, simply because to me it feels like a rite of passage. Good to see that you gave it a shot!

I finally beat this fight last night...and in partial thanks to this thread.
At level 70, this fight seems almost impossible and began thinking that I may have to lvl another job and take on Maat instead. I went 1/6.
Here's what I did:
Forget about sleeping TP, really, you dont have time. I ate some sole sushi before going in and used a blink band before engaging her. Armed with 23 hi-pots, I worked at stepping her and building TP to 100% with 2 FM and wild flourished/dancing edged her. I did this twice, all the while curing myself only with the hi-pots.
After my second WS, she'd had DE'd me twice (fortunately not back -to-back this time) so I used Trance, cured myself, used drain samba III, healing waltz and spammed the heck out of my steps. Once Trance wore off, her health was below 50% at this time. , I popped a Iwing, wild flourish/DE'd her again.
It took one more wild flourish/dancing edge to finish her off at around 6 mins and I came very close to death my self because she hit me with DE back to back. I ended the fight with 106 HP
My suggestions to Lv 70 dancers going into this fight as their first LB5:
* gear for both Accuracy AND strength the best you can. I used mostly my AF with the exception of the body (scorpion harness) and head gear at the begining (blink band) and I choose rings that added strength and a belt for accuracy.
* wait on using the Icarus Wing until she's below 50% health and has hopefully already used Trance herself. This was one of the major differences in my last victorious battle.
* do not use TP to cure yourself, use hi-pots and only cure yourself during Trance. Same for Drain Samba ~ which is helpful ~ only use it when it's free.
* wild flourish is the key. the extra 200-300 damage you get on Scission is what will bring her down. In previous fights I was able to WS her up to 6 times, only using wild flourish once or twice, but it did not do enough damage. It took 4 wild flourish/dancing edge combos instead.
I've read extensively that this is a tough fight at any level, but especially hard at level 70. I was begining to think I would never beat her. But it can be done. Good luck, my fellow Dancers!!
