With the commencement of this year's Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza, citizens of all three nations have burst out from their jubilance-inhibiting shells! There is honestly nothing more fun and satisfying to us moogles than to assist and guide our egg-hunting enthusiasts on their way, kupo!
So, Dearest Master...
What ingeniously innovative strategies will you employ to hunt for eggs this year?
Will you be tempted to trade with your friends?
Buy them in bulk at bazaars?
Or perhaps, simply seek charity and shout for favor from random strangers?
With the following fabulous furnishings available as prizes for collecting the right combination of "initial eggs," we trust all our adventurers will not lack for motivation. I wish you every success in your hunt, kupo!
- Melodious Egg
Beautifully embellished in gold by the San d'Orian royal family's very own master chaser, this ornate musical box reveals not a single shell fragment of its humble egg origin. Its hauntingly sweet melody will surely have tears welling up in your eyes, kupo.
- Clockwork Egg
Is it an egg? Is it a timepiece?
The Clockwork Egg is a fine example of form and function in harmony. The most accomplished of all smiths at Bastok's renowned Metalworks have come together to produce an outer shell of reinforced steel for this nigh indestructible egg-based timepiece, kupo.
- Hatchling Egg
The brainiest brains of Windurst's Rhinostery breathed life into this life-like raptor egg that promises maximum cuteness with minimum maintenance. Its menacingly convincing growl will add a new ambience to your Mog House that can not be had from other furnishings, kupo.

If you have the egg helm from last year, get it off the storage NPC! Otherwise the first initial 3 awards you with the tit hat. :wall

Best event items ever!!!! The Sandy egg (Melodious Egg) plays music, the Windy egg (Hatchling Egg) blinks/growls and chirps at you and the Bastok egg (Clockwork Egg) has an alarm clock that goes off. I'm so excited that SE actually gave us interesting items for an event. Here's a SS from my MH (Full collection of the Egg event items^^) :

To get the new eggs you must have the eggs from last year. The "super combo" you need is still the same from last years combo, just spell out the region of the egg you want (ex: R-O-N-F-A, S-A-R-U-T, G-U-S-T-A). If you don't have the eggs from last year you will have to spell out the "super combo" 6 times to obtain old then new eggs from each region, if you want the Jeweled Egg from last year you will need to spell the "super combo" 7 times (depending on if you want all 7 eggs). The storage on each egg ( old and new ) is 1 space/egg.
How do we get the egg ammo items from previous years?
To Obtain the Fortune Egg or Happy Egg from last year you will need to complete the "Seven of a Kind" combo which is seven eggs of the exact same letter (ex: Bx7....Zx7.. etc etc), You can use any letter for this. You can also get these eggs by completing the "Initial Straight Eight" combo which is eight consecutive letters of the alphabet starting with the first letter of your name, but in my opinion it's ALOT easier to get the "Seven of a Kind" combo accomplished.
Word of Advice:
If you don't want to spend all your hard earned gil buying eggs from other players heres some tricks to obtain more eggs from the moogle. You can get bonus eggs by trading the moogle different kinds of eggs, use different characters to obtain more eggs or join a party (the moogle will always give you the option to pick the 1st letter of the person(s) name you are partied up with). You can only get extra eggs ONCE per (game) day.
* You will get one bonus event egg randomly by trading any of the following to the Moogle:
o 12 Bird Eggs
o 6 Lizard Eggs
o 12 Hard-Boiled Eggs
o 1 Soft-Boiled Egg
o 1 Colored Egg
* You will get two bonus event eggs (same letters) by trading the following:
o 1 Party Egg (HQ of colored egg)
* You will get three bonus event eggs (same letters) by trading the following:
o 1 Lucky Egg (Rare drop from some Crawlers)
Wiki has an excellent guide if you need more info :

Good luck!!

You can obtain the Orphic Egg (Lat:Acc/Attk/Eva+1) by spelling out the element of the corresponding day.
* Fire will work on Firesday.
* Air will work on Windsday.
* Light will work on Lightsday.
* Ice will work on Iceday.
* Dark will work on Darksday.
* Water will work on Watersday.
* Earth will work on Earthsday.
* Thunder will work on Lightningday.

So I've gotten myself all the eggs (took most of lastnight and today). I know some of the eggs make noise, I'm just trying to figure out which and when.
The Sandy egg seems to sing at 6 and at 18
Some egg makes some sort of noise at 3, I don't know which it was.
Does someone know what time on the other eggs, or if the others make noise at all?
It is rather cool to watch the clock egg match Vana time though.
EDIT:
What I have watched happen so far:
Sandy Egg: Sings at 6 and at 18. It's the sandy nation music and there are little music note animations
Bastok Egg: Ticks or something at 9. Keeps time with actual Vana time.
Windy Egg: Chirps at 15, growls at 21. Blinks randomly.

Thought I'd add that even though you place these eggs in your home nations mog house, you can still hear the noises they make in every other mog house. They go off at certain times in the vanadiel day, pretty often if you have all 3 eggs.

That's the Jeuno egg. To get it this time around, you have to have at least 2 eggs from the same region. (Ie, both Sandy eggs). Then trade another letter combination to the moogle of a turf Sandy owns, and it'll cough up the Jeuno egg. It's trippy!
