Me and Dag got suckered into it by someone who turned out to be a huge jackass. Who ended up taking over her character because she started playing WoW with me and changed the password on her.

So..I have no desire to play anymore and I have pretty much quit the game because she can't play as Daggy anymore either. I would love to come back to Pandy, but atm, not happening due to money limits and the fact she can't play at the moment either.

If she ends up getting her character back by some miracle, then we would xfer back to pandy. Doubt that will happen because the guy is overly headstrong and thinks he is in the right. Plus he's a writer and good with words which makes him seem to be able to warp a lie around to truth in his favor.

He paied her FFXI bill for a couple months as a birthday present, and when she played WoW for a couple weeks he changed the password and got all bitchy.

Nothing we can do to get the character back, heard of similar situations where PO just looks at the billing info and its the person who is paying for the account is the one with rights to it.

This is why we don't give our character info to people. Sorry to be brutally honest, but did you really expect him to leave that character alone? lol...


Again, I wouldn't do something of this nature, but everyone who has my account information I either know in RL, or have the account information for their characters. They're also people who I started playing this game with 3 years back, so... A little trust has been built there.

I dont think you can say "this is why we dont give our info out" - then say you share it with people you trust....just lol. The people you trust are the ones that stab you in the back and take your account ,obviously. It's how it happens, people dont just give their account to some fool they just met, then they steal it and they go "ah well, I didnt trust them, thats how it goes." My rule will always be gtfo if you ask to use an item or get my account info.

Anyways ~ I feel for ya daggy I shared my account with a friend because he let me use his 100 bonecraft char to make money, when I quit for WoW. He deleted ALL my stuff except my joyouse and a few really random things. Said he felt like cleaning house. No idea what he used my account for, or why he needed all that space, but here I am starting over with no stuff, though he was kind enough to leave me with like 3m, so at least I can buy new stuff. but, there ya are. I've been gone over 2 years and didnt think I'd ever come back, I'm just glad I have Hartigan and no info was changed.

I had a friend who recently lost his account to someone who knew the passwords. However, Playonline told him if he had the registration codes that came with your original game in the back of the little booklet you can obtain rights back to your character. It is a long shot, but worth seeking out possibly. If you're still interested in coming back to the game, give it a shot you never know. Good luck.

Oblivion is back if I am not mistaken, I forgot his name though. Getting his account restored is something I would try to do, no doubt. There are a lot of people that could be trying to get accounts back, I know Megaboss aka "Sasan" needs to be trying this as well, but he's a noob so that prob wont happen.
