I'm trying to help set up my gf with decent gear...shes LV 42 DNC but we know its Agi and Dex and Chr so here I am asking what do you recommend this level and further on down the road. Thanks in advance.

Rings
Back
Earrings
Belt

Stuff like that

Swift belt
Rajas Ring, Sniper/woodsman ring (x2 if rajas not applicable)
Suppa earring(For later lvs, again, if applicable), Diabolos Earring (Same), if neither, I guess just some attack earrings.
Body: Rapparee/Scorpion Harnesses
Hands: Dusk gloves(Faster tp gain, lower utsu timers, better DoT)/Cobra mittens (Faster tp gain)
I'm tired atm i'll think of more later if its not already mentioned and come in and edit.

IMO:

for tp gear prioritize: haste > accuracy > dex > store tp > att > str

str/att gear for WS if you ever use WS... which you shouldn't be at 42 unless the party is imbalanced

agi/eva is useless unless you're solo'ing or main tanking

separate gear set with chr for waltz macros

That priority chart above is a good one to follow while choosing gear - hit as accurately as you can, as fast as you can, and for more than zero.

At level 42 I think (not 100% sure, it was a while ago) I had:

Daggers x 2 (Federation Kukris I think, Bone Knives +1 at 45)
Rogetsurin for pulling (War Hoop replaces that now)
Empress Hairpin
Peacock Charm
Attack+ Earrings x 2
Brigandine at 45 (replaced now by Raparee at 50, wish I could have used it then >.< )
Battle Gloves
Snipers x 2
Nomad Mantle +1 (Jag Mantle replaced that)
Tilt Belt until Life Belt was equipoable
Republic Subligar
Leaping Boots

Just make sure to make macros for equipping any CHR+ stuff when you cure, and have another to take it off while you're not. CHR+ does nothing to help with melee, and it saddens me to watch Dancers do that.

Note: Not claiming I had the uber-awesome-ideal-zomg-best gear setup, just offering advice.^^

Thats exactly what i use ninelives, Except since i'm a mithra i used savage body ^^; hehe, put yeah that list is what i use. I have gear to macro in for TP, WS and for my steps, samba's and waltzs.
