No, because it's just painfully boring. WoW has just as much circle-strafing, to be sure, but it isn't as detrimental nor as obnoxious, mostly because WoW seems to be a bit more lenient on distance to swing and there are a dozen ways to get someone to stop running. Watching two Paladins circle-strafe for 10 minutes while casting buffs and Dispel constantly is like watching my Bard beat something to death with an Earth Staff. It'll eventually die, to be sure, but possibly not before I expire from boredom.

I actually haven't gotten my Ballista License on my current character yet, I think I need to do the last parts of the quest I started literally a year ago.

What did you expect from 2 tank jobs geared for longevity going at it?

Yea. we are designed to last long. And last long we do. If you want a more "exciting" fight I can steer you towards a few SAM/nonRNG or DRG videos.
