Ix'Aern MNK Glitch?

Hey all, I've done this NM about 5 times. The first 4 times went without a hitch, but the 5th was awful. Basically I duo it each time and usually being an rdm with crimson cuisses, I'll trade the 3 organs spawning three aerns and then usually I will run to a panel room, then die. After I die, the Helper Aerns would despawn or such and my friend would kite the Ix'Aern until I was un-weakened and then we could just fight the ix'aern without trouble. but last time, there was no despawn, and when my friend grabbed the Ix'aern, the helpers linked with the NM--causing me to get back up from RR, chainspell, RR, diaga the helpers, and run a few rooms over to die and cause the helpers to no longer link and help. I was just wondering if anyone could explain the proper way to pop this nm and get it so this kinda issue doesn't happen again, Thanks again for all replies!

Oh good to know our ls wasn't the only ones who experienced that last night. We had sacced and the helpers didn't despawn, almost killed the helpers but then benediction.. and then you know.. lol

Lost our organs and I think a 3rd JoL set. Hopefully it wasn't part of that update yesterday hehe :blush

A blm friend and i(rdm/nin) killed it this morning at like 1am and didn't have any problems with the helpers what so ever. Just make sure that whoever pulls the ix into the ebon panel room is at least 30 units away b4 the sac person dies. If you do it right and the helpers are 30'+ away, they wont reaggro, and will depop.

Its called party hate. Have the sac puller drop party before pulling

"Party hate" is a myth except for in VERY special situations, like many Limbus zones. No pop NMs operate like that. They may aggro, but they aren't aggroing because of your party.

The RDM and WHM aern's that you're spawning with Ix'mnk will never depop unless Ix'mnk is killed. The same applies to Ix'drk with his Qn'aerns. What was likely happening before was that the RDM and WHM both cast spells when they spawn in allowing you to build some distance on them (more or less distance depending on the spell they choose to cast at the time). You can simply have the second person be outside the PT when you pop. Have him claim both the WHM and RDM, which would allow you to bring Ix'Mnk to the Ebon Panel room without the 2 adds following. RR up and kite him while weakened. The second person can just RR,rest and take over kiting when he's healed and what not, etc etc, the rest is gravy. It's really the exact same strat as Ix'drk.

As for party hate, I'm not entirely sure if for Ix'mnk, Ix'drk or JoFort if they get party hate on pop or from the moment you get emnity on it. Odd thing is if you have movement speed and you're out of range when you pop any of the aforementioned NMs, they will lose aggro on you if you don't do an action on them at the very least. I know for a fact that Ix'drg gets party hate when someone does an action against him when he spawns. Ie. If I disband then get emnity and zone, it will deaggro. If I get emnity then disband and zone, he will chase the other people that were in the PT.

This is incorrect on this NM. Ive done this strategy 50+ times. Have whoever is popping drop the party, run IxMNK and his friends to the panel room... wait for puller to die, then the party aggros Ix'Mnk. The whm and rdm WILL depop.. along with any other aggro the puller brought along. Aslong as the puller is not in your party, and you dont touch anything until the puller dies.. your ok.
