Ive decided to become a taru paladin. (now DONT tell me i cant do it, any race can do any job its just a matter of equipment and playing smarts)

I just wanted to tell you. Yep. And tell you i did. (BTW...Pld quest SUCKED)

Personally i'm against taru pld because as a pld, the pts life is in your hands. At the higher lvls I get hit extremly hard by some monsters and I just know that with the gimped def and life of tarus, you would not fare well. It's your choice and by all means go for it but I don't know how many pt will approve...

I believe that Taru paladins are just fine, i've been in groups with taru paladins and they do better than any other paladin, with the exception of galka's...

Okay, listen to me. This is my one experience partying with a taru PLD.

We were around lvl 43, in quicksands. He held hate TREMENDOUSLY well. He had the best equipment. He provoked every 30 seconds, healed himself, etc etc. But we could barely finish a battle alive. Meanwhile, the group next to us with a Galka PLD were getting many XP chains, we couldn't even get one.

Tarus suck as paladins. Hate controlling and healing yourself is not enough, you need to take less damage or deal more of it(PLDs ARE good melee'ers, not the best though)

I advise against it, if you want to tank, then be a NIN.
