Nope! Leaping Lizzy, Valkurm Emperor and the Shadow NMs in Feiyin for example, no. The PH HAS TO BE KILLED in order for the NM to spawn.

Had a RMT try to clear our LS out of Chary's Aery back in the day because we were killing the Siren's Hair NM. The fucker used viralae(sp?) to charm and ran off with the mob. Called a GM who did nothing. Definitely charmed does not count as the monster dying because it will never respawn until it dies or despawns.

Agree with everyone, had an asshole BST hold Charybdis PH against me once while he was waiting for his friends to get here, used his 2 HR on it to ensure it would stay charmed for a long time, called a GM and GM didn't do shit, to bad we still out claimed them when Charybdis did pop lol.

I don't know about any other NM's but one thing they did at least for Lord of Onzozo is that the PH comes uncharmed a second later no matter what lvl you are or your charm+, which is pointless now since no one wants an octave club, wish they'd do it for other NM PHs.

I noticed that with Lord of Onzozo PH too, so I made a Familiar macro which allowed me to Familiar it before it uncharmed.
