im making a char on siren gonna check out whats going on, not worth moving my chars again tho cause i dont want to be disapointed and then wanting out again XD plus its probly cheaper and faster to make a char and get it to 60 in a month or two and only wasting 2 bucks

on gilgamesh not many NA's showing up to ballista, and the french are to busy camping HNM lol

what trips me out is that people are afraid of ballista for some reason, they always telling me they never done it and will probly die or something. the funny part is that they are willing to go into dynamis with just 18 people and hardly any mages lol

yesterdays matches were tiny but still close and somewhat ok, bleh to it though after doing wow on my twink for 2 days realizing that the battlegrounds there are just a lot more laid back and enjoyable, plus not as long to wait, omg 10mins! takes forever for a match

Midgar is actually making a decent come back with Ballista for the past couple of months. Same people most of the time. Acouple of new people here and there. 60 cap is JP only, uncapped is mostly NA with a few JP. Most players know what they're doing, so not many tards.

Been on Fenrir since '04. Transferred to Siren about two months ago and I love it. The 60caps are full of quality players and people who actually use their Gate Breach. I'm going back to Fenrir, but only because my friends are back there.

Imo if you want quality Ballista, go to Siren. If you like nonstop death matches where no one cares whether they win or lose, go to Fenrir.
Ballistawise, Siren > Fenrir from me.

Wow, so it's down to Siren and Fenrir. To be perfectly honest, I just want a server that does it all the time. Though i'm assuming Siren only runs during JP time which sucks and i've heard that Fenrir is all around the spectrum. My server xfer will be ready in about one week though Siren seems tempting with a 54 man ballista! Sounds crazy! I hope it's not JP time only.

After being on both +P fenrir does have it all the time, but if you want to do matches with a bunch of sam/rngs and drk/nins for 60s with people who know very little on how to do a real match, todays matches, started at 6:30ish pst am, I was kind of preoccupied so didnt actually do them lmao. Jugner 30vs30 Pashhow was 24vs24 and I I didnt catch Meripthaud. Yes during the week during NA prime the matches can be kind of small, but IMO small matches let you actually test yourself a lot better then a match where you can get away with hiding and nobody touching you.

Fenrir I felt was just a big waste of 3 months for me, ended up playin wow more because of it haha and was nearly about to quit, although now Im playing wow more again I actually look forward to matches I can make, which is the only problem for me atm

And for peopel who play wow +P I made a 39 twink war, god! soooooo fun, just so fun lmao, when I was 37 I walked up to a 39 war and crit him for 500s about 4x, poor guy didnt know what hit him! I want more people to come do 39 though /cough I got a friend to make a shaman soooo more people gogogogo =P

I can say there is defenently more skill invovled with the Siren matches, you make one mistake, and its curtains.

On Fenrir, I could run around like a chicken with its head cut off, get GB, and run away scott free. Not the case on Siren, you actually have to "think" to win.

the mages on fenrir were just horrible, whm casting holy for kills....rdms casting tier 2 nukes instea of gravity.

the funny thing is those of us in the same ls have been accused of not targeting eachother, when the only rdms that gravity me nonstop and constantly aga me are the ones from balligod =P And now that phel has his main on siren Im sure im going to be eating half his guillotines

There was 1 thing I had forgot to mention, but has been mentioned. Siren uncap is pretty sparse, because uncap is dumb /nod but thats 1 thing people on fenrir cant get enough of

So just to verify. Fenrir is more consistent while Siren does it once in awhile? Or they both do it more frequently just Fenrir is bigger and Siren is smaller? What's the PvP ratio between the two? I'm loving the quality aspect of Siren but if I have to wait until certain days/times to play ballista then i'm just gonna can it.

It depends on the cap you prefer. If its uncapped, yeah you will be severely dissapointed on siren. I know the majority of jp have the feeling I have towards uncap. Its not a good judgment of skill like 60 is =P dare I bring up blu!

But in 60s, yeah towards NA prime the matches are smaller to cancel, so thats maybe 2x a week? Ehhh to me its worth it. I like good matches, ones that arent just the mindless boring killfest that happens on fenrir. Its nice being back with pld and blu that heal =P oh and rdm! god fenrir mages need kick in the face!

You'd have to wait certain times on Fenrir too, but the only difference with that is that there may be more Diorama matches and that uncaps won't usually be canceled. I heard some people are trying to bring back lower caps though.

cyclone! stormscale, just finished with engineering too lazy to log on main to get mats for thorium grenades, yes I will be that bastard! its insanely fun to me, even the bad matches where we have 5 sub 35 people and they are a full team of twinks, still fun

but yeah fenrir is ok I suppose, I knwo the jp here love 50s too, they did them today I think, dont see them non jp hours usually though, My opinion still goes, you love uncap go fenrir, because I think most servers dont favor uncap

I moved to Kujata from Cerberus about 5 months ago, main reason was Ballista,what comes for Kujatas current Ballista situation 60 caps will do happen, JP time but no caps seems almost dead..but some JP players are very skillable so quality of players is good,I prolly stay here long time I found nice EU LS it has been fun ,so I hope you find server where Ballista is popular.
