To be honest, it's better than the average first signature, much better than my first atleast. You didn't go over the top with color or contrast or anything. You've filled in the empty space nicely too.
A few tips, though:
-Add a border. Every sig needs a border, or it looks unfinished.
-When adding text, make sure anti-aliasing is ticked. It looks a bit too pixelated.

-Make the character as large as possible in FFXI Model Viewer and then scale it down after you bring it over to PS. This helps with the rough edges.
-Particularly with FFXI sigs, an actual image of a landscape or mountain etc usually works better than a CGI.
-Slightly more complicated, but once you become more familiar with Photoshop, start including a little more texture.

It is impressive for a first sig though. Good job!

Not if it's a pixel font.

I wouldn't recommend a real life background unless you're going for signatures like Mortama's, which, in all honesty, are probably a lot more involved than you're ready for. Saying that, I'm not even sure how he does it, so please don't take that as an insult. Borders are hit or miss in my opinion. Some signatures look better with them, some look better without. With this one, I think it looks fine without a border, but if you opt to include borders, I'd say typically make it one pixel except for a few circumstances.

Definitely make the character in AltanaView/whatever you use as big as you can. It helps with aliasing the character when you shrink it. You can't really tell right now on the character model itself, but on the scythe you can see it's pixelated on the arc.

I'd suggest trying to play around and pop the character model out, give it some depth or separate it from the background. You could have used the black to white gradient the opposite direction and put the DRK in front of the whiter area, but I'm sure this was the result of I dunno, maybe placing a DRK on the dark side or something.

Lol you don't need a border but one thing I can say is don't use bright text like in the bottom right it distracts.

Ok thanks guys, i was varying the different colours of text and since green is the colour of my LS i did that, but thanks for the heads up and next time ill try and down grade it so it isnt that eyecatching from the rest of the image.

and yeah i dont think a boarder is needed on all sigs, some look better and some dont.

Is there any way i can get alot more different Fonts and Colours for my Photoshop?

False.

I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I think just about all sigs need some form of border, particularly one like this.

Errm yeah, because that threat is just full of Randomness and Idiot Comments half the time and not properly taken sirous.

For instance

"Irony >.> I'm listening to the sound track atm. Gogo "The Never-Feast" by John Williams. 4:40 minutes of goodness."

Really Signature Related.....

I wanted people to see what i have done and to give me tips, which some have, and its easier to see and follow if its in a new thread and easier for me to find Posts that are accually related to my work and not other peoples.

Instead of Posting A Link to a new thread, try giving a creative point of view next time.

Thanks.
