Hey guys, I haven't been able to figure this out. Is Lu Shang's quest repeatable? I mean, if I trade another 10,000 fish to the one guy, will I get a 2nd rod?

I only ask because I was hacked a while ago, and lost my rod. I want to get one back. Should I just create a new character and go that route?

I remember reading a post on here that said you could get a 2nd Rod by talking to the other Brother, i've never done the quest myself so i can't verify it.

I'm pretty sure they won't let you replace your Lu Shang's that easily or it would be cheap as hell on AH. Start on a mule or find one on the AH I guess...

Your quoted wiki article is for the repair quest in Rabao which is repeatable. The rod quest is at : http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/The_Riva...The_Competition which says it's repeatable but that's because you can trade carp and be successful any time.

I remember seeing a post back on Marissa's Fishing Forum or one of those sites that someone gave another 10k carp and didn't get any additional reward.
