Hey all-- FFXIclopedia says you can get Black belt @ lvl 71, but the belt lvl is 70... Is it just setup that way to be retarded or can I do it on another job that's 71? I was just wondering since I just hit lv 70 mnk and have the items.
Thanks all in advance~

You need to be level 71 Monk to get Black Belt. Yes, it's stupid.

Nothing in the game is 70 capped after you mash Maat, right?

Could have sworn there were 70 cap assaults.

Level-capped Assaults were a nice thought, but they suffer the same problem that all level-capped things suffer: too many people are 75 now and we don't have the space to hold onto gear. Since, like CoP, you can't really complete to much in utter crap gear (unless the strategy relies on Summoners), it's sort of wasted. Newbies would rather level up and put together a group, too.
