Well, I lost my internet for ~ 2 months after I got back from south cali and I just never played ffxi since. I've tried Aion but like all others it didn't hook me like FFXI did. Its a shame, I was so looking forward to that game ><. Anyway, I'm passing the time with Left4Dead 2 and Mario on the Wii till Bioshock 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic and FFXIV come out next year.

Ouch. Without internet for 2 months, I'd go stir-crazy, I admit it. That really sucks about Aion, too, I've heard really good things about it, but I'm laying off trying any new MMOs until FFXIV myself. As for XI, I...campaign. That's about it. But like you said, every other MMO I've tried just hasn't been able to capture and keep my attention in the same way. I tried starting over on Midgar server since I met a couple friends who play over there, but yeah...that lasted about a week. XD So yeah, I campaign, usually by myself, and talk to the NPCs.

I miss all the old people though.

XI was a great game for me, and I've tried many, many other games when I thought I was sick of final fantasy.

Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Aion, Hellgate: London (I loved this game! but they cut online support soon after it was released), Vanguard, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Perfect World, Sword of the new World.

None of these pissants held my attention like final fantasy did. Now to wait till XIV and Star Wars: The Old Republic comes out.
