I never used /sam.

I was lazy and didnt feel like leveling ninja until i was lvl 65.
I lvl'd DNC 20-65 /war then switched up between /war and /nin until 75 and still go /war or /nin for merit parties.

Merit parties setup as DNC DD/NIN(with voke) DD/NIN DD/NIN DD/NIN BRD/NIN works better than anything else i've seen.
I use Raven gloves for enmity- and I never get hate while I main heal.

With proper equipment a dancer can easily merit in mamool ja staging grounds staging point or at the bird camp with a Joyeuse and get a noticeable difference. DNC/WAR joytoy doesn't make any sense. Don't do it.
but DNC/NIN with main-hand Azoth or Martial Knife (or if you're lucky as hell you have an adder jambiya) and off-hand Joyeuse.

Azoth and Adder Jambiya+1 is still the best dualwield set for DNC unless you have relic weapons.

I have mnk75 and capped merits and DNC/MNK is just plain horrible. So don't even think about that.
