I am level 73 ranger, and when sometimes do 0 damage (regular /ra or even Sidewinder) to the mobs (especially qudavs) when other players are still doing damage to the same mob... Anyone have any idea why?

Yes. Quavads (sp?) have an ability (Diamond Shell I believe) that reduces all damage taken from behind to 0. 'Behind' includes certain angles from the side as well, maybe try to always be in front of the bastard befor eyou hit it.

If it's not that then I'm sorry, I don't know the answer.

I see thf's SA on a quad and still do damage but I'm not 100% sure if it works when they buff up.

It doesn't. Once they're buffed any/all attacks from ze rear are useless.
