I'm an upcoming Dancer, and was wondering about doing the BCNM40 Under Observation. With a Ninja sub, or perhaps White Mage Sub, would it be possible to kite the Sobbing Eye? With the use of Quickstep -> Desperate Flourish, would it be possible to stick Gravity? I wanted to try this strategy when I got the chance, but wanted to make sure I could actually do it before wasting seals.

From experience any job can kite main eye as long as you have two others than can kill the two smaller eyes fairly quickly. Just aggro main one and run is pretty much all you need to do. /NIN or /WHM sub are both great for keeping alive if anything happens.

Desperate Flourish isn't very reliable, but it could help. You'll eat dirt if it opens with Breakga, since you don't have Bind or anything.
