wth Blunted lol, he cleary points out that this is in no way trying to show hes better than anyone, just something cool he found he could do with a new spell. The Drk used souleater and bloodweapon with a Drk Zerg build a strategy capable of doing thousands of Dmg to HNMs like Dynamis Lord.

All in all good video but I personally thought the souleater thing was silly also.
It didn't quite demonstrate the power of Reprisal but moreso Sentinel and Invincible. You would have gotten similar results in having blaze spikes up /rdm. Somewhat misleading in what the movie name implies but still a fun look at the spell.

i know everything u know and probably more. this idea was just something that was in my head for a while and i wanted to try it. since reprisal dmg is calculated before invincible/sentinel/etc, i thought it would be funny to show it doing 30-50 dmg spikes while taking 0 dmg, i know lady killed herself with souleater, but if u look at legato, by the time it was over his hp was all the way down to half way, and he had 1600 hp to beggin with. and omg! look at the block rate! isnt it cool?!

Should try with a Size 4 shield.

I know I know... size 3 onry. Onry for xp/missions/HNM/etc.etc.

But someone on ye olde PLD forums pointed out that shield size affects the % of dmg fired back. (he discovered this by trying with a size 2/1 shield, thinking more dmg taken = more dmg reflected. it was the opposite effect).

I'm curious to see how much farther said MNK would've hurt himself if using a size 4 (besides, with enough +skill, Reprisal's block% rise, and the fact that a MNK is not an IT+ monster, should hit the block cap or pretty close)

Aegis is not the end all answer either I've beaten aegis users before with and without my pld (i use ritter, cause well i like ritter) aegis gives a nice shield bash but doesnt contribute much beyond that, especially if ure fighting a pup who attacks from both sides, or any pet job for that matter

**Leaving what I said but I wanted to clarify some.

If you are new to mmorpg and dont know someone, you jump into ff11, you see the economy is horrid, the lvling, just as bad, cant do much at all alone. You go to WoW, and you are able to actually do decent. I know what comes next from you people, omg wow = easy! Yeah compared to ff11 it kinda is, but for reason. Like most mmorpg, the game doesnt start till you reach end lvl, for the most part. There is plenty to do in either game without being max lvl. They nearly halfed the exp it takes to get to 60 in wow compared to when it first came out, nearly doubled the exp you get from quests from like 30-60 and all that. But you know, if you 'tried wow' and got to like lvl 40 and were bored, but came to the game with a purpose of wanting to hate the game, then yeah you're going to hate the game.
