somewhat offended you wuold suggest that about WoW, anyone who would buy money or an account there is just an idiot, money is easy easy to get if you have a 70, sorry if millions of people who play wow are wrong compared to the incredibly small amount who still cling to this pos game that is ff11
**Leaving what I said but I wanted to clarify some.
If you are new to mmorpg and dont know someone, you jump into ff11, you see the economy is horrid, the lvling, just as bad, cant do much at all alone. You go to WoW, and you are able to actually do decent. I know what comes next from you people, omg wow = easy! Yeah compared to ff11 it kinda is, but for reason. Like most mmorpg, the game doesnt start till you reach end lvl, for the most part. There is plenty to do in either game without being max lvl. They nearly halfed the exp it takes to get to 60 in wow compared to when it first came out, nearly doubled the exp you get from quests from like 30-60 and all that. But you know, if you 'tried wow' and got to like lvl 40 and were bored, but came to the game with a purpose of wanting to hate the game, then yeah you're going to hate the game.

Didn't Blizzard start to sell the Gold themselves? So yea that would cater to someone like Blunted a tad better than a game where you can/will get banned if you get caught. For this game being a pos, doesn't stop you from coming back to these boards with a random video does it?
Also:
anyone who would buy money or an account at all is just an idiot
Fixed.

Thats because I still ballista and talk to omg...friends...on ff11, And, what blizzard did as far as I know was made an arena server, where you go to an npc and it gives you gold....lmao, but thats because the server was dedicated to arena, and the winners got prizes or something.
And the subject of RTM, well honestly, I can see why people will buy in game money for a game like this, it just so happens to deal with the reasons I stated. How do you want to use your time while you play. I remember a post on allah a while ago, some kid who only played ff11 on weekends while at his fathers house, because his parents were seperated and mom didnt have it or something. And I can completely see the kids view, why would I play on weekends, only farming, to be able to buy stuff, when I can just buy the gil and enjoy the weekend playing.
I know what yuo're thinking, omfg you buy gil. Think it, I dont care haha. But like I said about wow, Ill break it down somewhat, although it will be hard to understand since the economy is so different. There are certain quests you can do each day on wow, these are called, dailies. You can do 25 each day, and get roughly 10 gold for each one. Thats roughly speaking, 250 gold a day. From just spending, MAYBE 1-2hours doing them. Thats not counting farming/ trade skills and whatever people do to make their money. Now while making my twink warrior, the best legs for the bracket I was making him for, cost roughly 200gold, which is a decent amount. The epic flying mount, which people used to spend so much time farming to get, is 5,000 gold, which used to take people a good month or 2 of farming to get. So you can see with this abundance of gold one can get in wow, buying money there = far more dumb then buying money in ff11

aeonknight ur confused about me alittle
im not a gil buyer i buy and sell chr and make alittle profit and get to play while they are on auction
its not my only living but its nice extra money i will make about 1.5k profit off this account when it sells
and why do u always go to the mom and dad cradit card thing
most buyers i would think have there own money asking a parent to spend that much on game might seem silly
i have sold around 30 characters and probaly over a billion gil by now over the past 2-3 years of rmt
i have never boted or been gm jailed
sorry if i see a way to make money and use it

Underlined bit: Then the game can't be that bad if it still has a WoW junkie like yourself coming back to it occasionally.
Bold bit: No, you really don't know what I'm thinking. I didn't jump to the conclusion of ZOMG GILBUYR because you can sympathize with the kid in your story. I'm more or less wondering why said kid would bother jumping into an MMO (especially one as time demanding as FFXI) when he only has 2 days out of the week to play it... but in his case, maybe he doesn't deserve to be strung up by his thumbs and set ablaze. Most people hate the excessive buyers, the ones who buy WAY too much and then blow it on everything they can think of. They're the ones that gave RMT incentive to fuck us over in sky a year or 2 ago.
@ blunted:
I know you're not a gilbuyer, and never said you did. What you were accused of (and admitted to) was account buying. Just as bad really... as for directing you to WoW: If you're looking to turn up profit from a game you can farm/sell the gold in that game alot easier than FFXI (doing them dailies temadian talked about). Or better yet, there are plenty of WoW accounts all over the internet for you to do the exact same thing you do on here. Only you're buying/selling to a much larger audience. Makes sense no?
Then you go about bragging about how superleetawesome your Aegis PLD is (which is the equivalent of buying a wtfamount of money), yet we all know that you did none of the work to get there. You're taking credit for someone else's hard work because you pulled out a piece of plastic with numbers on it. But since any half brain dead retard with too much money to spare can do that, your "accomplishments" in ballista don't mean much.

yes it makes very much sense but i dont know shit about wow lol i played ffxi for along time so i know what to buy and what not to
and for the farming thing i dont rmt like that lol
i find ppl quiting and such who want a fast sell for low price i buy and resell it higher price
i honestly only ballista ingame nothing else
im the annoying person shoouting the whole day before a match to get ppl lol or if no matches i shout for dio's
like i said i can seem to be a dick and i am rmt but i honestly am good for the pvp on the server i play on
i get ppl to play
the only friends i have on servers play pvp or are on my first server
and i dont take credit for the gear i have i just pvp
i have never claimed to have lvled that pld or got its aegis
and im known for rmt its already been stated on here that i dont have my first toon and play on rmt accounts only

hmmm, no actually, the game is shit other then the fun you can get out of ballista, which is the only reason Im still on it. Incase you didnt notice Im talking about the game as a whole, that means end game, ff11 is dull IMO. I used to do what blunted did with shouts and dio while I was on hades, but now I spend most times on wow unless I know Ill make 1+ 60

@ Blunted: Maybe you should take all that profit you've made from RMT, and invest in English 101 at your local community college. This is granted you are not a high school dropout.
I fought you on fenrir, and your nothing to call home about. I wasn't even on my mnk at the time. I was on my 2nd rate samurai. lol

Blunted tought me how to PvP like 3 years ago back on good ol' Alexander. He really taught me how to play as a good PvPer as my WHM and i still do fight as my WHM. Tanking HNMs too, soloing VT. Wouldn't of got to this lvl without him. He really is a good person or was back here. He is just a strong competitive spirit.
Long live the melee WHM,
Esahic of Alexander
Enjoy the game. Enjoy the fight. PvP with all your might.

ffxi is dying believe it! only people who dont know how to go out get laid and party still play 24/7!
no honestly i went back through all my 200 people on friend list checked each server sent them msg ect. ect. and well only 5% of them still play but most of that 5% are people who been playing 2-3yr only not 5-6. just like tema i only ballista cause endgame here just doesnt fit my lifestyle and its disgusting to see noobs with good gear yet their skill sucks ass, in wow noob or skill they both have same chance of getting gear because they can solo for it unlike ffxi.
now about ballista, it gets kinda borring to now at times because you see same people same jobs, they never change because its such a powerful job or w/e. a lot of people talk shit to the bst and smn yet they have the guts to show up as a job not uber unlike 10 mnks with BlkBelts and their near 2k HP.

Call me crazy, but I can't think of many situations that actually happen in the official matches where a WHM would benefit the team more by melee'ing instead of keeping their melee alive. In the Diorama I can understand, but yea....

melee whm is hot in 40s....
but yeah Ive been preaching about how dull the game will be forever, considering the cap will never go past 75 without horribly brekaing the game. Believe it or not the game probably wont get any better.
The matches usually end up the same, like last night in jugner, something like 11vs11 in 60 cap, 1 team had whm blm rdm, other team had a smn and thats about it. Before the game time hit 10 the score was like 70 to 5. And on a lot of servers its usually like that, thank god it doesnt happen often on siren. Had to make the most of it though, picked 1 person on their team that was designated, the one who shall suffer /nod I mean come on, if we suffer, someone on your team is going to too.

I had this well written out post for a buncha people in this thread but then I just kinda determined it was pointless to say. Someone's gonna agree or disagree. The outcome's always gonna be the same.
So.....
