I see your point about videos and I accept it. Everyone has their style.

Man, you aren't lying about the FRAPS eating up everything. On my old machine, I would never be able to record whole fights. It wasn't until about a month ago that I got a new comp and was able to record stuff. FRAPS is a monster and takes about nearly 50GB of space in raw video format per Ballista fight.

A lot of people will say you're trying to gloat if you post a bunch of kill shots, but they also don't understand how most people play style's are extremely boring..

Anyway, I do my videos to have some kind of theme going on between the video and music. Like take my lolAlla video for example. There's a lot of editing simply for timing sake. In short, I guess I'm trying to make an actual music video and not just a ballista video with music to it. I select scenes and songs that convey a type of mood. But yeah, I guess that's just my style as well. Using ballista as footage is a lot harder than using anime, but I think since I've been making AMVs for years now it's really hard to break out of that mindset. Videos with goals behind them will always be of better quality than just ballista footage thrown together to a song, no matter how skilled the player is.

I like Redd's style more personally. I'd rather watch how a match went instead of just watching a bunch of killshots.
After all, when you watch a soccer game or stuff like that you watch the whole match, not just the scores. :|

Yea, I fall asleep watching that kinda. I'll stick with my Music Video style lol. It's one thing to participate in a hour long match, it's another to sit and watch it from a "single perspective". Should get like a second frapser from the enemy team and combine the videos. Get like footage from both sides of how it went down lol.

When I miss a match and I stand to see how the fight goes on between the two teams, i could never stay for more than 4 mins, I get bored and just warp back to town.

But I guess that's just me, being (participating) in the actual hour long match is fun, but its not that entertaining for me (aka boring) to sit and watch it from the outside after awhile. To each his own.

It's like that one comedian who made fun of Nascar "Sure it might be fun to the driver, but watching Nascar is the most boring shit ever.....OMG THEY ARE GOING LEFT....AGAIN! /gasp"

Loved the one moment in the Meriph' video, chasing that Monk out of the combat zone (due to him running for so long), then backed off, Camoflague... I did the same exact thing in a sixty cap, same spot too.

Some of my favorite Ballista videos by far, Red'. Gives a large explanation on any of the real intense parts of the whole match (I can assume), but as well as not making one instant -too- long; atleast in my opinion. Just... the music is the only thing that bothers me, lol. But you can always turn that down if you don't like it!
