I would've posted this on the youtube link, but there's simply not enough space.
Not having seen FFXI: The Phenomenon, the idea of a video entitled "The epic" seemed a bit haughty.
This video more than lives up to the choice of title. As far as full-on action/drama/storyline FFXI videos go, it has to be the best I've ever seen- in fact, it rivals the best AMVs I've ever seen. (I come from an AMV editor background, before I became interested in creating XI videos.) And considering the first places I ever heard Pompeii or Tikal was an AMV competition, that's really saying a lot.
Beautifully edited, a great sense of tempo and rhythm, and you used the music wonderfully. I love E.S. Posthumus and you did both them and FFXI justice- actually, you may have caused FFXI to look far, far better than it is.
It goes without saying that I'm off to see The Phenomenon now. Thanks for sharing such a great video!

Dude, nicely done. I've seen alot of fan made music vids but this one is the best I've seen in a long time.
That music is used in alot of movie trailers, no? Realy felt like I heard it before. I Work in a cinema so I see alot of trailers lol.
The editing was very good keeping up with the music all the time through out the vid and still keeping the story of CoP in mind as we progress forward to the climactic final battle
!
Been forever since I made a vid of my own.. seeing this made me wanna give it another go
Be sure to make more vids Kian!

lol a while back my friend sent me a link to The Phenomenon, and tho it was somewhat a spoiler for me, since ive been to lazy to do ToAU yet (want to do it with friends who have yet to hit Lv50 for the last 4 years of playing lol)
but remember seeing it and saying, damn now i wanna do ToAu sooner.
but yeah over all GJ. only thing id change is, raise the brightness, my PC is at max, and i almost NEVER see anything dark because of its settings, but its somewhat hard to see ur vids, do to how dark they are.

Yeah I noticed that too, it's weird. I think it either had something to do with the .mp4 rendering or possibly YT compressor, because the downloads look fine in that respect. Ah well, something for future reference. Danke.
