Anyone have any cool campaign ideas that would make it funner or easier?

I thought about starting the campaign battles yourself. You would talk to the arbiter and ask to plan an attack. You then pay the necessary notes, maybe 25k points to start it. For another 25k notes, you can call a NPC army to fight with you. You would need top rank, and the NPCs would be only the ones from the belfries, maybe 6 of them. They follow you around and attack your target, or anything that attacks them. If you die, the battle ends, and your are immediatly sent back to your nation. I'm always impatient waiting for a campaign battle to start so I thought this would be pretty cool.

-Medics do not start attacking until they have hate (basically, they will not attack after being hit by AoE -.-).
-NPCs will give a message in /say when they find a dead player, making Medics come to raise or just giving other players a heads up. Being missed out by that nice WHM due to lag is not fun.
-Continue to put Mission/Quest NMs in Campaign Battle zones, getting Allied Tags for those is awesome.
-Add more Campaign items. Body Drink is hot, I want more. Something like Healing Tube, that heals you when deployed. One that removes status effects, one that heals everyone, etc. (these probably already exist and I'm just dumb, screw you).
-Make the teleport NPC put you right by the NPC for tags again, switf transport to the fron lines my ass, bad enough you can't port me to Necropolis/etc. (which are ment to be Allied bases for crying out load).

Other than that, the next update has alot of stuff I want (by the sound of it atleast).

Another one I want is death protection after you accept a raise. Since it sucks ass getting raised, getitng up, then dropping before you even had a chance to get out of the way.

Maybe some more freelances, and some new solo campaigns in BC areas.

Solo campaign battles would be awesome, hell, I solo V.inlet on a daily basis and it's HELLA fun. (on my server, all the sandorians won't leave sandy to take any other areas.. so it seems up to MYSELF to do so. Too bad 1 loss takes away FIVE wins ><)

I would LOVE for them to utilize those catapults and cannons they have lying around. Make it a Mini game that raises influence in that area, or have a BC where you have to protect the cannons. It's crazy Beastmen get ACTUAL tanks, and we get cannons for decorations.

Honestly, they could have solved at lot of the /bard problem by making brd songs AOE without needing a party, like SMN's. Insted of people MPK'ing them, they could just chill and get buffs before the fight.

Everybody wins.

Also, have a system that calculates who did the most in a campaign and give them Items or titles like being an MVP in ballista. This would spread people out into areas they normally don't go to to try to be the MVP with less competetion. (and an extra boost to those that SOLO WHOLE C.P.'S >< )

All and all, SE made a good, item faggotry and gilseller free part of the game. Still needs a few nips and tucks, but I still like it.

How about temporary armor? When you accept the tags, you get very strong armor that the army supplies for you. You could choose which armor you want in your nation. Maybe some realy cool items like some relic weapons or some temperary WSs.

Roll back the last update, re-patch the bugs, allow us to get skillups, add teleporters to take us to just outside of the dungeon areas, and automatically raise everyone when the battle ends.

How about when we accept the tags, we get three options.

1. Take half the damage
2. Do double the damage
3. No effect from AoEs not targeted at you

Campaign wide bonus EXP for everyone who helped wipe out a Wave of Beastmen, an NM Beastmen Leader, or Beastman Freelancer.

Larger EXP caps for curing/Magic damage

The ability to use the artillery all over the place. Seriously, the Grauberg Guntower should actually fire it's cannons.

The ability to direct NPC actions via the weekly vote thing. On offensive you choose their attack strategy whether they'll charge full in from one direction, surround and attack or hold back and pick off Beastmen who wander. On defense we'd be able to choose how/where they spawned in the cities. (It seriously pissed me off so many times to lose fights while entire troops of NPCs sat and did nothing).

Permanent, AN buyable, cheap foods and supplies. Obtainable only in the cities and usable only in campaign.

An NPC that explains how to start a campaign battle in zones we don't control.

Teleportation directly to the three strongholds around Jeuno.

Agreed, a bigger EXP cap (or NO EXP cap, how about that?!) for healing/raising... Being able to start your own battles would be nice...

Personally, I'd like to see an option to be able to get allied tags, but make it so that you can choose whether you'd A) like to get EXP & AN at the end of the fight, or cool.gif get no EXP or AN, but be allowed to get skillups and have EXP loss protection when you die like with normal allied tags. It'll never happen, but it'd be nice.

Let WHMs use -ga spells in the same manner as SCHs and SMNs. If not for the EXP, at least for the damn AoE attacks that get thrown by every campaign boss and his mother that us mages just can't keep up with.

And something that's long overdue, not just for campaign, but also for besieged and in general... how about a color change or icon of some sort above a character's head who's dead but has succesfully received a raise or has RR in effect? It'll help keep, sometimes literally, dozens of mages from wasting Raise spells on players who see fit to wander off or zone out while dead on the ground. 150+ MP just ain't pretty to waste, especially when you could be throwing a Divine Seal + Cure V at an NPC who's about to die instead. *growls*

I just wish they would ramp monster Accuracy down, I used to be able to solo mobs wit relative ease on my Thf/Dnc Now I'm forced to /nin because monsters seemed to get some magic Accuracy boost overnight a few updates ago.
