Trying to help my GF install FFXI onto her computer. After a days worth of updates and install timers, we click the "Play" botton to be followed up with Error Code-0008. Says something about make sure all requirements are on this computer or something. Tried to go to the configure screen and it didn't give any options,except for Default, Help, and OK. Doesn't give any tabs or options other than that. Did I forget to install something or is my gf's computer a piece of shit and can't run FFXI? I don't know much about the model, it's a dell, maybe 2004 model.

if you have windows vista you may have to actually install
from the disk try this

i tryed to install FFXI with my new cpu
and had the same problem with it but if you dont have windows vista
i cant tell you what to do. hope this helps
