Beastmen/Kindred Seal Storage?

Previous version updates have ushered in numerous improvements to in-game storage, with the Mog Locker and the Mog Safe having been bestowed with increased capacity and several furnishings receiving enhancement tweaks thus far. But that's not all we have to offer!

In next month's update, the development team will take the hassle of storing beastmen's and Kindred's seals out of your hands, and put it into those of orb-dispensing NPC Shami. Through the natural course of gameplay, adventurers will come into possession of not inconsiderable quantities of the abovementioned seals which take up storage space like all other items. From the next version update, however, adventurers will no longer need to leave stacks of seals scattered about their Mog House, waiting to be stepped on by unwary guests to grimacing, painful results. So, whether you have just one or hundreds, swing over with all those cumbersome seals to see Shami at his usual hangout in Port Jeuno and he'll take care of the rest.

>>*Shami will hold onto seals traded to him with white-knuckled tenacity, but will gladly furnish adventurers with lovely orbs as recompense.<<

Does that mean he'll take our seals but only return them in the form of orbs?

It certainly sounds that way. Seems as though they're changing him from just converting the seals into orbs, to instead storing all of your seals and then allowing you to pick the orb you want depending on how many you've handed over to him since the change. I doubt they've made it so that he'll return the seals to you... there wouldn't be any real point to that.

Basically, they're making it more like the ZNM system

it is nice that they are adding a storage option for beastman seals. but it seems like they still need to make the next step - update drops and/or add new BCNMs and KSNMs so that people are more likely to DO BC KS fights.

i would also like taking the rare flag off orbs to allow for more runs.

I like the idea of rare orbs, though. Hold too many at once and it gets really old really fast for everybody in the party. A little inconvenience helps parties plan in advance, use more tact and helps foster strategies. If I could pop 10 Cloudy Orbs off in an hour, I'd just dump them in and hope I get a run that doesn't end in me dying.

Making me dash back to PJ every run actually gives me time to analyze where I went wrong. While it's not exactly a big incentive to limiting one orb per inventory, you can see how it stacks up when everybody's doing the same thing.
