Heya, a few months ago I spent some time hunting down Tres Duendes in Phomiuna Aq's and noticed something.

I took him down a total of 7 times over two weeks or so, and here is how the fights went down and what the drops was:

I took him down three times solo, with and without pet up - no drops
I took him down three times with one other member in the party, (duo) - no drops
and there was one time I took him down with three other members in the party besides me - katana, h2h AND dagger

My jaw dropped as the three items rolled over the screen.
The katana is rather useless,
The h2h is cool i suppose, with the slashing damage and all (I recieved this item, and the HP drian proccs more often than expected)
The dagger is sweet imo. at least when it's free.

So I was wondering, since I've never seen any drops with less than 3 people in the party, does it really drop stuff?
Anyone seen anything drop with two or less? (and no bat fangs prx :|)

The h2h procts more often than you expected?

it procts for me maybe once ever 10-20 hits either your lucky or im just very unlucky. ; ;

Also a few in my linkshell killed him for a week or two, we got plenty of h2h plenty of katana and i think 2 daggers

we always got at least one of the drops, but we might have gotten lucky.

Hmm really? I found it proccing every 6 hits or so, but I haven't used it much, must've been lucky.

How many people were in your party at the time you got the drops?

depended on the day lowest we had i think was 4 highest was like 9

I killed it solo 3 times as BST/WHM.

1. Dagger (Useless)
2. Nothing
3. V.Claws (Shaweet)

I actually wish I would have gotten the Katana as all the jobs that could use the dagger have better alternatives at my current levels.

ive gotten all three drops solo.. those H2h procs are horrible i had like a 13% proc rate on them when i tested.
