I'm assuming since people are talking about it being a freelancer and potentially having a 'neutral' form in the future, they're referring to Auroral Alicorn. Light version of Dark Ixion, participates in campaign battles, but it's just about as rare to see as Ixion unless it's with a specific country. Yeah, it's AA. It also grants the country a Reduced Experience Penalty option when asking for sanction (there will be a Next Page item below the usual regen/refresh/food duration options).

To hire the freelancer, simply cure him if you see him running wild. Dunno if it works during a battle where he's already fighting for someone.
