well, No im not, I wanted a challenge so Im going to get a challenge, IM tierd of a damn level 20 BLM Taru, So I decided to go for a challenge and stick with a melee taru.. by the way, its level 6 now and I also took the time to fix some of your spelling like: Linkshell...if you don't know what that is,,,, you quit the game, and also HEAR is the way of hearing someone speak.... In case you're wondering, this person's the forum idiot. Meaning, you can just ignore him because he doesn't have enough intelligence to make useful comments. With that said, i'll try some suggestions.

If you don't mind travelling, you can go to La Theine Plateau at around level 8-12. After 10, it slows down a bit though so you might want to try getting a party in Shakrami Maze at level 10. Make sure you take a ranged weapon (bows do more damage then boomerangs) so you won't have to take the burnt of the attacks. This will also help in all mage parties since they can still nuke without worrying about you dying from trying to melee a worm. These worms will give you 175-200 EXP without having to chain most of the time. But if you get low on HP, remember to run out of spell range and heal your HP up. While it may sound slow, you'll reach level 14 or 15 before you know it. By then, just follow the normal crowd and you should be fine.

PS: Thieves can be played by any race. One race just might need different equipment set up then another.

And Shoof... just level your TaruTaru THF... as you would level any other job... its normal... Now that you are Level 6, maybe 7...? Go to Ghelsba, which is by San d'Oria... and you could make a good profit off of Fire Crystals, they drop like no ones buisiness... or stay in Windurst and Kill Everything... ^^ Windurst Leveling is fun.... you could make profit off of Silk, and do the repeat quest a lot ^^
