Hey guys, I'm currently working on getting this weaponskill and was wondering if anybody has unlocked it and done testing with it to see how the damage is on various mobs?
Trueflight Any screenshot/damage reports?

I havent unlocked it yet, and probably will be the last WS i unlock, but anywho the WS itself doesnt look like it is ment for E-peen damage. Its a situational WS and will likely always give infirior damage in comparison to slugwinders.
The use of this WS is simply to give us a magic WS that is influnced by factors other then weapon/ammo damage. In other words things like magic attack bonus will probably effect this WS, and will mainly be effective against mobs that become physical damage immune (hopefully /sam if this happens) or simply have very high physical damage resist.
Basically its ranger Quick draw.
This in no way reflects reality btw, simply my opinion and my way of saying, dont worry about the damage.

this WS is probably going to be great for machine crossbow users if damage has nothing to do with weapon dmg rating.

Use this in conjunction with the other tools out there and you will know your #'s

Well it depends...How much does it do? If it only does 300~ damage, then its just pretty much useless. But if it does like 700~ then we would be able to buff it up enough with AGI and MAB for it to be decent for xbow users.
Also, I wanna see how well this does on Skeletons.

Id wager somewhere around 400-500, maybe 600 with optimal gear. Id say this is worth while against mobs like hydra that are constantly going physical damage immune. Basically SE just tryed to add a magic aspect to the job, but id say add moldy earring + trilling dagger (better option then lightstaff if your /nin) + MND set (assuming MND is modd, might just be AGI) and you can probably do nice damage vs mobs youd normally get 150~ damage on slug's.

also, this is formula for leaden whatever......COR's WS, more testing is needed to know if its same formula for Trueflight

lol you all need to start reading BG and Alla, math is so far behind over here on KI
Trueflight has 25% AGI mod instead of 30%
Quality of posting really has gone down.

Denali Gamashes
[Feet] All Races
DEF: 15 STR +3 INT +3 MND +3
Accuracy +5 Magic Accuracy +3
Denali Kecks
[Legs] All Races
DEF: 35 DEX +3 AGI +3 Accuracy +3
Ranged Accuracy +3 Evasion +3
"Magic Atk. Bonus" +3
Magic Accuracy +3
Nice call with the magic acc/attack, but im not sure theres enough magic attack bonus available to rng to make this hugely useful. (light staff/trilling dagger, moldy earring, novio (good luck with that one), the new (s) helm (dont wanna look up the name))
Hehe sorry, thought someone posted the 30% ealier, you kinda made it seem like someone did say it
......but someone did put 25%, just inputted into the "formula" as .25

Assuming the formula for damage on that link is correct.....lets do some calculations. (being generous) lets say you have 150 agi from stats and gear and have mob with relitively low int (70). 2(150-60)+4.0(77+.88(.25)(150)) = 612.5 damage
add 30% from light staff/trilling.....novio....so forth = 796.25......not horrible, but thats being very generous on stats.....
basically unless your consistantly dealing with HNMs like hydra (physical shield) its not hugely worth having Trueflight armor setup.

Something else I found funny. From gear we can get ~25 MAB, but if we /blm we get ~25 from JT.

Gobli wrote it's 30% AGI, but with weird fTP modifier :
fTP 100 = 3.50 + 100/256 =~ 3.89
fTP 200 = 4.00 + 100/256 =~ 4.39
fTP 300 = 4.50 + 100/256 =~ 4.89
fTP 100 = 3.50 + 100/256 =~ 3.89
fTP 200 = 4.00 + 100/256 =~ 4.39

I do find that interesting, should be fun atleast playing and testing the new WS.

i need to find some help to pull down some WS points as i just finally saw bow drop last night. for now i'm under the assumption that this will be a good tool for mobs with high physical damage resistance or a penalty to piercing (elementals, slimes, bones, etc).
has anyone done tests with light gorget on this WS? i know it doesn't have a transfixion property to it but the WS itself is considered light elemental. has anyone also tried using light obi on this?

Also, since this is elemental, is it 100% (well unless resisted)? It would make it even more of a worth while WS to things with high def/evasion, but lower magic defence.
Seems like it would be the WS of choice in the mire also(if people even party there anymore). Since everything there is basicly dark based or undead, using a machine xbow/holy bolts+this might make RNG really saught after there.

Breeze gorget enhances damage.
Trueflight does not have 100% Accuracy, it gets "resisted".
Tried it out once in Dynamis-Xarca /Sam, using Repeating Crossbow+Holy Bolts
Had +52~ Agi I think, +12MAB and Apollo's Staff. Was getting about 300-350 on NQ Demons, resisted about half the time.
Even though you can fire really fast with Repeating/Machine Crossbow, I was only getting 10TP a hit. And it "felt" like I was getting to 100TP as fast as I would using a 6-hit build not /Sam just due to the animation delay and so on. It was hardly worth using Trueflight during Xarca, I stopped after the first pull.
Damage varies by TP, that is, by each point of TP it appears. Damage was consistent at 300TP, but at 100, 101, 103, etc, damge all varied.
Damage screenshots (Tests) and number crunching starts on this page of BG towards the bottom:
http://www.bluegartrls.com/forum/showthrea...084&page=15
Later determined that lowering targets INT increases TF damage.
I can't see this WS being useful at all really, except if a PLD mob uses 2hr and you have TP or something. High def mobs like Jailer of Fort, I can still put out good (Better than using Xbow/TF) numbers using Bow/Gun...
