I don't know what makes my brain hurt worse, that Rambles decided to add a confusing and totally unnecessary bit of information to his post (it is irrelevant where you acquired or why you own a given gun, motherfucker) or that TrollDuendes was actually able to sift through the aforementioned stupidity.
Mind you, any idiot could have told you that Trueflight isn't affected by weapon damage because it was and remains the weaponskill of choice when using such high damage items as Machine Crossbow and Holy Bolts. It's not exactly news that needed testing.
Trueflight Any screenshot/damage reports?

just an FYI on top of this necro bump. when proto-ultima puts up physical shield, trueflight will have no effect.

strange, when i was playing with leaden salute ( ok now im talking about cor since i do not know any mob off the top of my head that has a defense in light) I was shooting it on undead. I found it strange they only 1/2 the damage, both on ghosts and skeles, when i think skeles are suppose to down darkness more then that, lest i think.

I got a lot of mileage out of my Holy Bolt build in Dynamis. When hate is sketchy as hell and I can reliably expect to eat dirt every damned time I fire off Sidewinder with a stronger weapon (since my regular shots will be producing a hell of a lot of Enmity, too), it's nice to be able to backload most of my damage into the added effect of Holy Bolts, which I can push rather high being Elvaan and having a decent MND build and Apollo's Staff. I never bothered to parse, since Dynamis puts me to sleep even without having to wait out weakness every five minutes, but actually staying alive means I'm probably doing more damage than if I was using my Vali's Bow or some similar weapon. Plus, it's fast, which is amusing if nothing else.
Now, whether it'd have any application in Limbus or Einherjar or various world NMs, I dunno. I wouldn't hold my breath on it, since hate should be a lot more predictable than during a Dynamis clusterfuck.

RNG shouldn't really be pulling hate in Dynamis if your DD's are getting buffs :/ but in Temenos, Holy bolts + Obi are pretty amusing.

I fail to see how Ranger cannot get hate. Anyhow, getting people to buff properly in Dynamis means shooting them full of methamphetamine and tying them to their chair. Have you ever played Bard in Dynamis? People intentionally run out of range of songs, healing is usually unnecessary, so it's just 2-4 hours of AFKing to watch some porn until someone realizes they haven't had a song cast on them in a while, at which point I sing Gavotte or Pastoral. If you have Bards that are actually willing to suffer trudging through Icelands doing their job, you should pay them in hard currency.

prob means with good DD and buffs rng shouldn't be able to pull hate. I play brd for that, i dont care.

skeletons have a piercing resist on top of darkness reduction.
ghosts have 50% dark resist, 25% pierce resist.
bones have 50% dark resist, 50% pierce resist.

hmmm i always though bones would be immune to dark because you cant dark base sleep them.
i think it did the same damage on ghost and skele so maybe the weapon type dont effect it
