Harajnite... Yo, how long's it been since this NM and it's drop was implemented? I have looked online and haven't found much information on it... But I'd like to know if anyone here has had any encounters with this evil shelled cephalopod... I guess it has to be fished on the Manaclipper? What fishing skill would be required? I know through ffxiah's cross server prices that Harajnite Shell has been sold and that some people have crafted Igqira/Genie Huaraches on other servers... So um... Any info anybody?

I don't think you need any skill to fish up mobs.

I've seen it once in 4 years of play and that was when I pulled it up a while ago.

Nah, you dont need any fishing skill to catch it. And it's on the manaclipper.

I've tried "camping" him actually, and hes not hard to pop, but the main problem is killing him before the boat docks. Which is usually like... 50 seconds or less.

It's a uragnite, so it does normal uragnite stuff, which is mainly why it's so annoying to kill.

Okay, so I've encountered this bad boy twice already... Camped him that same day Tuesday, took a while maybe two hours... I caught many mobs during the meantime, crabs and octopussies... But then I got a weird message, "You have a terrible feeling about this one." I figured, alright I got it! I dropped it's fish hp to 0 but when I tried to pull it in, it broke my fishing pole... So okay, I keep fishing... NPC Tourguide talks about a monster living in these waters or something, then I get regular mob theme and pull up Cyclopian Conch... I just ignored him, not the one I wanted... Bound it and walked away... THEN I finally pulled Harajnite up... This NM had EXTREMELY High Magic Defense... All my spells did half damage, so yeah, ended up dropping it to maybe 85% and then cursed effect wore off... 75% Time ran out then I went to Camp Noble Mold... Then I tried again after I got my Rain Hat... Brought my best friend, he's BLM... On our first ride, we got it... There were 3 other people on boat, I invited them, but only the 2 DRKs joined, the Japanese WHM was busy fighting a Calamari... So yeah, we got it to 50% or so... Blah... I wanted it's shell... I think this NM is ridiculously overpowered for such a short time span...
