Say there, sport, I might be generalizing your context a little bit, but something about your post screams that you're talking to me. I mean, you have me quoted, which leads me to believe that I'm the intended recipient of your response. I sincerely hope this is not the case, because while I can be viciously incisive at times, most of the time I am surprisingly rife with diplomatic aplomb. Now, when I referred to this film as an "arcane treasure", I was being sardonic. I didn't pose the question because I actually thought the film was of much merit. You might do well to actually read the whole of my posts instead of just skipping to the part you want to argue about and believing you have a solid basis for doing so. People with weak and impressionable minds who take this film in for the first time are prone to believing that they now harbor some sort of esoteric inside track, which was the intent of my previous query. However, if you'd still care to debate the issue with me, you're free to do so. Keep in mind though, you can make a smart decision when you try.

Nono, It was directed at the OP, only thing directed at you was the line after the quoted text. Sorry for the confusion.

It's all good, I've just grown accustomed to people being loquaciously combative with me on the forums.

Next you'll be hearing people say that there was a gun barrel hidden in the car's cigarette lighter that killed Kennedy.

Pffft, what President Kennedy experienced was a probable digital data anomaly phenomena, it was laying dormant in Americas network systems until it's time came and it just acted in accordance. Basically JFK was killed by a Champion level Digimon that used synthesis to create proteins into the form of a body, shortly after however the government tried to claim it was Lee Harvey Oswald and that he acted alone instead of admitting he was the first Digidestined and then they even stole his Digivice, this information was leaked years later to key employees at Bandai of Japan which in turn resulted in a virtual pet/manga/anime/ crappyfuckingvideogame series.

It's all common knowledge. or well it should be if you had activated your power crystals on the plane of eternal crunk face.

Btw in the alternate reality where I'm from Dennis Kucinich is president and everyone is required to grow a beard. even the females. This is mostly because President Kucinich knows the secret truth behind the reason for CDs and has told us inorder to not experience the wrath of Malgorth the interloper you need to have a beard. and not bread like some people suspected. Learn to read ancient Balgaraiani sometime. BRB Porsche time suckers.

I love you, path.

Also, I heard that ballistics testing on the trajectory of 57/129 of the bullets that entered Kennedy's body grant credence to the theory that there was some sort of automatic weapon installed in his dash somewhere in the general vicinity of his radio or cigarette lighter. I believe it was put there by the media.

I've been afraid to check the balance on my 401k now... I bet instead of the normal breakdown of each of my funds' performance it will say that I owe some guy called "Big Bob" 50 bucks.

By the by, that "more than 2 million Americans" statistic includes the ~250,000 Ohioans who are suffering from Ike, not to mention the people in Kentucky and other non-Gulf states. At least, it did when I read the news this morning. So, uh... your pissy little comment seems kind of moot. I'm allowed to talk about shit when I'm one of the ones affected by it, albeit tangentially since my neighborhood was spared most of the wrath.

http://www.centerpointenergy.com/staticfiles/ike/ike.html

Considering Centerpoint's grid is in Houston, it would be logical to fix the grid first before fixing downed transformers. Just as Entergy's grid is in Lousianna, Entergy customers must wait for Lousianna to be fixed before Northern Houston can.

My pissy comments come from having to look at this daily and then having customer bitch about replinishment in Chicago.

Another person bitching about their energy workers going down to Texas (as if Texas didn't need it) upon "President Texas'" command is just another ignorant asshole in my opinion. Some of the infrastructure is in Texas. And seeing as how you build from the inside-out, rather than outside-in, the President had no say in this - It was energy companies.

Edit: Found it.
http://www.centerpointenergy.com/staticfil....13%2011a.m.pdf

2.1 million of 2.3 million out of power in Houston alone through one company. This excludes Entergy and New Mexico Energy.

Hmm... someone from Texas who has no sympathy for other people affected is an egomaniac, in my opinion. Ohio State University, the largest university in the nation (or second largest, we're constantly fluctuating in sync with, you guessed it, the big university in Texas), has power, but the majority of our students do not. Projected repair time is SATURDAY. Every time a major hurricane hits the Gulf, it travels straight up and hits Ohio. EVERY TIME. Sending our repair crews to Texas is fucking stupid because we will, guaranteed, need them here. EVERY TIME. But, please, keep calling me ignorant because I want the same attention as everyone else who has been hit by this hurricane.

Path I was in the same boat you was, here in southeastern Ohio most places were closed from the power outtage and high wind damage. I think Newark, Lancaster, and some places in Zanesville and Athens are still without power

Also path do you live on the east side of columbus? lol im sure you'll know what i mean

Wow this thread is just retarded. Man the OP must be 15 and watched Loose Change like 6 times. Dude, go outside and stop reading conspiracy theorists.com or whatever you do with your free time. The person who posted second knows exactly what is going on. You guys don't so you make up some bullshit. Watch the History Channel's debuffing of the Loose change movie. It so makes you conspiracy theorists look retarded.

QUOTE
Mr. President, this week Fannie Mae’s regulator reported that the company’s quarterly reports of profit growth over the past few years were ‘‘illusions deliberately and systematically created’’ by the company’s senior management, which resulted in a $10.6 billion accounting scandal. The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise
Oversight’s report goes on to say that Fannie Mae employees deliberately and intentionally manipulated financial reports to hit earnings targets in order to trigger bonuses for senior
executives. In the case of Franklin Raines, Fannie Mae’s former chief executive officer, OFHEO’s report shows that over half of Mr. Raines’ compensation for the 6 years through 2003 was directly tied to meeting earnings targets. The report of financial misconduct at Fannie Mae echoes the deeply troubling $5 billion profit restatement at Freddie Mac.
The OFHEO report also states that Fannie Mae used its political power to lobby Congress in an effort to interfere with the regulator’s examination of the company’s accounting problems. This report comes some weeks after Freddie Mac paid a record $3.8 million fine in a settlement with the Federal Election Commission and restated lobbying disclosure
reports from 2004 to 2005. These are entities that have demonstrated over and over again that they are deeply in need of reform.
For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac— known as Government-sponsored entities or GSEs—and the sheer magnitude
of these companies and the role they play in the housing market. OFHEO’s report this week does nothing to ease these concerns. In fact, the report does quite the contrary. OFHEO’s report solidifies my view that the GSEs need to be reformed without delay. I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole. I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation.

Guess which senator made these remarks before the president and the senate in 2005 before this bill was killed in the republican controlled HOR and win an internets.

I didn't realize the History Channel = Gospel

Questioning things should be admirable.

Unless you are in favor of a society that would still believe the earth was flat, or that breathing contributes to global warming.

It wouldn't take a world-class psychologist to make a few accurate guesses as to why the "Ha, I can't think for myself but, damn, can I do calculus!" crowd tends to act that way. S'ok, robot, you'll have more money than me, but neither of us is going to change the world. Want proof? We're posting on an internet forum and pretending like it matters.

I wish I could forget calculus so I could be allowed to think again, then.
