Hey any of you going to Anime Weekend Atlanta. If so I wanted to give props to an artist whom we see every year named Ariel(sp). He first caught our eye when we saw a picture of a taru in a moogle costume and thought hey maybe he plays. Well it turns out he does(I believe he's on Gilgamesh) and we have been getting commissions made(for a price ^^ but happy to help) for coming up on 3 years now. Anywho we will be seeing him again this year(booth 57 in artist alley i think) for another drawing. He has always been helpful and given us exactly what we asked for including a bit more. Here is a bit of his work he did for us. The theme every year is that since we were going to the con, why not have our characters "go" to the con and cosplay. So we had some drawings done of our characters cosplaying and he was able to hook us up.

Here is the one he did for me last year. I wanted my character cosplaying as Suifon from Bleach.



Here is the one we had done the first year we went. It was a large project and it took him the weeknd but IT WAS WORTH IT. Couple of funny things about it. He drew a bomb under my char with me using it as a stool. Well funny enough Bombs are my favorite mob in FFXI, I had not told him this. Also its not a cigarette my char is smoking, its a stick of pockey. It was a nice addition that I thought was neat. He has made others for us but I cannot find them atm.

My characters is dressed as Golden Darkness(Yami Chan) from To Love Ru. She is eating a mandragora shaped taiyaki.
