Did 2 x the BC sunday

both time Head and mufflers biggrin.gif


i got the 2nd head cuz no 71+ RNG was there (64 rng but going 75 asap)

Does anyone have any numbers regarding the Snapshot effect? Chances are slim I'll be seeing this helmet any time soon, anyhow, but the new potential (and ugly) reward from Moogle Kupo d'Etat offers a merit-and-a-half of Snapshot along with several other possible augments.

this BC doesn't sounds very hard at all. need at least 2, maybe 3 tanks because the chance of death seems probable. nin tank seems like a bad choice due to the aoe constant slow from his shell aura, as does rdm/nin. probably do either pld/nin or pld/war for the tanks. 3-4 good rdms or whm for stona and heals, blm and rng for the DD, a couple wars or sams for tanking 2 adds while the other 2 are kited by rng w/ fast shoes or blms w/ gravity/bind, and a couple brds, one in tank pt and one in DD pt.

can anyone with experience with this fight tell me any flaws with this setup for the BC?

My LS usually goes with 8~9 people for this BC.

Pld/Nin x2
Rdm
Whm
Rng
Sam (sometimes War)
Sam (sometimes War)
Rng (Sometimes Blm in this spot)
Sam (sometimes Rng)

DDs are /Thf (except Rngs of course!)

First Pld goes in and gets everyone, 2nd PLd flash war and kite in big circle. First Pld holds all 4 adds in the back tunnel, all DDs focus on Blm1 first, then Blm2 etc. Whm and Rdm focus on keeping that Pld alive. No problem kiting the Boss NM w/ W legs in circles. Flash for hate because he'll go after the rdm or whm if they've buffed you or so during the kiting time. After all the adds are taken care of just pick at the Boss NM with the DDs, (Rngs and Blms are really good for this part but usually we bring Samurais or Warriors. Once the aura comes off both Pld straight tank, one in front, one behind and unload since this is when he's the most vulnerable and won't use the big AoE/Petrify move. He may do it a couple of times before you knock the aura off and the Whm should immediately Stona the tanks so they can reestablish hate and get him back to kiting. DDs should back off to be cured if they are hit and then go back in. If we're lucky (My LS is lowman stuff and we often go with only 8~10 but if some more members are on) we'll have an extra Whm or Rdm so that helps with healing. If your DDs are good enough once his aura drops the battle's over. Otherwise if he manages to get it back up just gotta push through it.

First times we did this was wipe because we would hold the War for a bit, and get mussed up by AoE a lot. Also brought more Blms than DDs which works fine too but Blms get bent easier so we just bring one or none.

Hope that helps. We've only gotten 2 Barbuts so far, done the BC about 6 times because there's a guy that monopolizes all of the NMs (especially Terror Shield) for gil ~_~.

That's a lot of people lol, if your Pld/Nin is well enough he can just hold all 4 adds while the DDs focus on picking them off. With that many DDs I'd imagine they go down hella fast. The one thing I don't like about bringing alot of damage to this BC is the TP spam when Aura is up but once its down with that many guys you can end it in 5-6minutes or less.
