I see a random Japanese shout for a Blue Magic learning party and I take part in it. They were going for Firespit, Warm-up, Hysteric Barrage and Spinal Cleave (in that order).
We started at 11PM JST, and we were on Hysteric Barrage by 12, but we didn't finish till 4 in the morning.
I think one of my party member's got it after counting 50+ lamia, but I gave up trying to count after 20.
They were all Japanese, and I'm not very good, so using basic Kana/Hira, I try to tell them "Critical Hits" "Right Side" with Foot Kick, Sickle Slash, Power Attack and Screwdriver, just like Blue Mage Hunting Ground says.
Out of every 2 Lamia Fatedealers that popped, we would break 0-1 of them. Most of the breaks happened at 1% HP. Yes, 1%. We would hold them till they used HB on us or Dukkeriupen'd themselves some HP. We gave up after that and didn't go for Spinal Cleave, but I bet you that would've been a hassle, too.
I've been trying to get Frenetic Rip from Orderly Imps (LV63-69) for awhile now, too. I always end up dying (with help), thanks to carelessness. A nice LV69 Red Mage helped Slowed, Diaed, did everything before trying to cast Silence, but it had already Silenced us, Aero IIId me and I was dead from Drown DOT before he died slowly after. The party before that was with a fellow LV60 BLU. I got Sleepga II'd and the Imp picked us off one by one. She did get the spell before that though.
My question: Is there any concise knowledge of breaking weapons? Higher TP and Critical Spells didn't really seem to help. We even had a Corsair roll a Rogue die and normal crits on the right side of the Lamiae didn't really do nuts. And the Imps are even harder to break! If anyone has any experience with this, I'd like to hear your input, please!

Why do you always use small font size?
I honestly don't know. The big one annoys me.
Though, I've received comments that the small ones annoy them, and I apologize, but it's just an OCD thing for me.
Pardon me, it's just a habit I picked up and continue to use on other forums.
P.S I kept this one big just for you. /smile/

Or find a beastman controlled campaing zone and pull an imp away and solo it without tags, they break pretty easy.

Get a DRG or PLD w/ staff capped and get them a tunder staff. That's helpful to since the staff has a nice crit. hit rate on it.
