hay guyz how do u get that backwards b

edit: seriously though, the chick needs some professional help, and actually if she does serve jail time it will be for the number of man hours she wasted of the police's time with this bullcrap, and in that case, i agree that she should be punished, but i think maybe community service/house arrest would be better, along with some fuckin therapy

Actually, I'm in the mindset for a good old fashioned tar and feathering with a week or so in the stocks so the local kids can throw cabbage at her.

Going back to Palin, though, there is now some contention that she's "going rouge" and not listening to people who have been working presidential campaigns a hell of a lot longer than her, ie, her handlers. Her side claims that her handlers are the reason why she is coming across as a waste of breath and a late night laughing stock, while the rest of the campaign says it's because she's, well, a waste of breath and a laughing stock.

All in all, everyone is agreeing though that if McCain loses, everyone will blame her because she's, as we say on this forum, such a noob. I say regardless if they win or lose, we should through cabbage at her anyway.

lol yeah, I suppose it is Tawanna all over again (albeit sans feces) though I doubt she'll get the full two years, more like 1/3rd of that in a soft room.

She is totally gunning for 2012, and seeks to be the catalyst for the total quackification of the Republican party. How could McCain be tolerating this? She's like a rebellious teenage foster kid. The whole "going rogue" thing was just a rumble a week ago, it must be pretty bad because now its all over the place and McCain's staffers sound like they could be ghostwriting for SNL (lol @ the diva comment, not too hard to figure out who that was)

I can't think of a better way to seal a 2nd term for Obama. You go girl, with two backhand snaps in Z formation!
Palin/Bachmann in 2012 - Finally a choice for REAL Americans!

If the best the Republicans can come up with is Palin, they deserve to lose.

Hell, Huckabee was a better conservative republican choice than Failin.

The other alternative is of course with the hard left shift in government and Keynesian economic reforms we're all stuck with for the next few years that the goalposts could be moved and more centrist Clinton types could be concidered Republicans by 2012. In which case it will depend on the policies of his term.

Republicans have about as much to do with the political right as I have to do with naval architecture. We perpetuate this myth that the Democrats and Republicans exist somewhere on the established left-right political spectrum but, really, they're both all over the place as per the whims of their party leaders and the machinations of lobbyists. The Dems are at least closer in theory to the political left, but only by a little. Clinton (and the Republican Congress) dismantled government regulation of banks, that is, they worked towards a smaller government, which is a right move, then Bush came in and tried to establish a totalitarian state and a massive government, which is a left move. Putting the Patriot Act up alongside the dubious laissez-faire (crony capitalism is a more accurate term) policies of Bush and his Republican buddies point distinctly to a schizophrenic political party, though. It's worrying, too, that people are still willing to trust the Republicans. The primary reason I liked McCain was because he previously thumbed his nose in a serious way at his party.

people laughed at Huckabee for his bordering-upon-theocracy views... and ironically palin is SO much worse, but she gets attention for being folksy and cute... and you know, having a vagina

if i were huckabee i'd be so PISSED right now

The claim the Obama supporters picked up vagrants to get them registered ignores that they do have voting rights. Additionally, Obama supporters are not necessarily connected with the campaign in any way, shape, or form.

What the article does state, however, is that there is a same-day registration/vote law that these people are taking advantage of. With such short turn around, there is no way to prove residency, and thus, these homeless can be shuttled to areas that are split in terms of votes. It's still quite dishonest.

I will agree with Dianara, however, that this group of people does not nessesarily represent Barack Hussein Obama, and therefore, he cannot be held responsible to what a bunch of zealots do.

lol. I think it's awesome when people go to the trouble to point out his full name whenever they address anything related to Obama.

Granted, it is his name, but I was just wondering what the usual reasoning for that is, I don't get it. Is it one of those:

"Hey bro, you realize Obama rhymes with Osama right? Just sayin'" things? Or something else all together?

He does it to piss off the people who notice it. It's amazing how one-dimensionally people can think.
