Would I be able to use chocobucks upgrades during adolescents. My goal is to be able to have a chocobo that for apearance's sake has long tail feaths, big legs, and big beak. As i understand it you need to get the stat to average before adulthood to get the apearance? So if i had a chocobo on str+end would i be able to use chocobucks upgrades as an adolescent to get Disc up to average in time?

In theory, yes, but you need to understand just how many trainings you need to get Average DSC in time. It takes ~7 trainings to get a full level's upgrade, and that's 80 chocobucks per training. That comes out to ~2,240 chocobucks. You are only able to 'hold' 1,000 at a time. Second, you'd have to race STR/END to Average, then quickly change to Basic Care, otherwise you'll be lowering your DSC trait through the str/end boosting plans.

So yes, it's possible, but you'd need a TON of bucks at the start, then a ton more w/in a couple days. If you sat at your game and raced back to back to back, then yeah, you could. But don't forget the gil included in that. Its ~8k gil for 26 bucks, assuming you only loose to the 'supers'. That comes to roughly 688,000 gil.

In theory, yes. In actual application?... not so much.

Hi! I have another question. Since eggs are EX and Chococards are not. If I took an M card from one friend and an F card from another and presented them to the chocobo breeder. Would I breed their chocobos that I've never personally affiliated myself with and get an egg of my own with the stats of said chocobos and plan?

Yes. I have given breeding cards to many of my friends, with all sorts of colors and abilities. I have a male and female red, both with gallop. That's a common pair that people like. They almost always get a red with gallop from day one.

One other question. What are the exact stats on Vomp Carrots and Zegham Carrots? My chocobo had First-Class STR and END, so just to get a little extra kick on my DSC and RCP I thought I'd start to feed it Zegham Carrots. But not too long after, his Endurance went down to Outstanding. Does the food have negative effects as well?

Also I know all the guides speak about using the 90 chocobuck training programs to increase stats. But what's the differenece between that, the 75 point one, the 80 one, and the 100 one? If I'm not confusing the words of the NPC too much, I think the 100 point one allows you to raise stats for RETIRED chocobos. Thanks in advance for the answers.

That's the guide I use. It doesn't mention weather or not there is any decrement from food. It also doesn't mention anything about the 100 point training, the 75 point training, or the 80 point training. All it recommends is the 90 point training.

I haven't looked at the guide, but here's the difference between the 80 and 100.

80 - Chosen stat increases while the choco is still being raised.

100 - Chosen stat increases for choco that has already retired.

There are two other types, but those are random stat increases. I don't know why you would ever want that, though. If you're going to spend time/gil on extra trainings, why not pick your own instead of screwing up your training plan?

Btw: the 100 trainings are only available to the nation that is in first place in the circuit, Windy on Ramuh.

I hope that answers your question.
