Not sure how. You still have to do all the assaults for assault points. You need to be on when they do salvage (since u have to be there) and have to be alert the entire run so when you're on your mule if it drops u log back into your character. So you'd pretty much use up the same time
Really only see this useful for people who suck or something and can't kill NMs in salvage >.>
